|12| Jungkook

As soon as Jungkook entered his house he saw his father. He was sitting on the couch and watching the news on TV. Jungkook walked up to him 

"Look who decided to come home..." his dad said lowering the volume of the TV 

"Yeah, I decided to come..." Jungkook said crossing his arms "How did you decide to come at this time? Aren't you usually still with your chick?" he asked pissed 

His father looked at him surprised "W-what do you mean?" 

"I know dad, a long time now..." he said slowly starting to breathe heavily "You really think I wouldn't understand? Are you taking me for such a fool?? You're incredible..." Jungkook told him and started to walk towards the stairs to go to his room

"Jungkook you know after your mom's death... things aren't easy..." his father told him getting up from the couch 

Jungkook stopped as soon as he heard his words. A tear began to roll from his eye to his cheek. He started to feel dizzy and wanted to throw up. He couldn't stand those words. 

His dad stopped behind him "I can't be alone forever Jungkook. Just don't be mad at me... I know that-" 

"No!! You can't do that!" Jungkook's eyes stated to fill up with tears 

He turned to look at his father "This shows that you want to forget mom! But I can't do that... I just... I can't forget her!!!" he said starting to break down 

"I know it won't be easy for you... but there's nothing you can do about it" his father told him, getting his attention

"What do you mean with that??" Jungkook asked him starting to get nervous 

"I mean that... I'm... getting married Jungkook!" his father told him 

Jungkook couldn't think of anything at that moment because he was about to pass out. He started walking up the stairs until he was about to throw up, so he quickly ran to his bathroom and he immediately leaned in the sink. 

After a few minutes when he raised his head he saw in the mirror that his eyes and face were red. He didn't feel good after what his dad told him. He wanted to talk to someone urgently. Joohyun was the first person that crossed his mind. He sat on the bathroom floor and took his phone out of his jeans pocket.

He couldn't see well because his eyes were still blurry. He went into their messages and texted Joohyun if they can talk. He waited over fifteen minutes and had no answer. He got up from the floor and went to the sink. "What should I do... what should I do?? Any chance she's awake? I don't think so. But it's only nine o'clock. Should I go by her house maybe? Ahhh... I want to see her !!" he thought as he rubbed his face with water to relax. 

He went into his room and laid on his bed staring at the ceiling. He was lost in his thoughts. He was trying to find a way to see Joohyun, but he couldn't find anything good. Her mom was there too, so that wasn't going to make things any easier.

"I'm going to her house! And I'm going to get in through her window... not that I know which one it is, but we'll see!" he said 

He got up from his bed, got a jacket because it was very cold at that time and ran to his door. He slowly went down the stairs to see where his father was. He wasn't downstairs so that was a good sign. But since he did not want to take the car (so that his father wouldn't know that he left) he decided to go by feet. 

This would take him longer to get to Joohyun's house, but it was also a good excuse, because he didn't want to turn back that night. He was always bored walking long distances. And this day was a retreat because he wanted to see and talk to Joohyun.

He approached the door of the house, opened it very slowly and went out. He immediately started walking quickly because if his dad had heard him, he didn't want his father to know where he had gone. 

As he was walking he tried not to think at all about what he had heard from his father. So he focused to the fact that in some minutes he would be in Joohyun's arms.

When Jungkook arrived at Joohyun's house he immediately looked for her window. He had to go into their yard to find it. He knew that this was the correct one, because it was the only one with a dim light on and there were twinkling stars on the ceiling. He was trying to find a way to climb without ending up in a hospital.

He found a way to climb and reached her window. He looked inside and saw her. She was sitting on her bed with a book in her hands, wearing a very baggy dark green t-shirt, with grey shorts and her hair in a loose bun. 

Jungkook took a deep breath and gently knocked on her window. Terrified, Joohyun turned her head to see what had happened and saw Jungkook. She ran and opened the window 

"What are you doing here and how did you get up?" she asked him still surprised 

"I'm a monkey! That's how I came up... now can I come in?" Jungkook asked her starting to get really cold

He got inside, Joohyun immediately closed her window and looked at him "Why did you come here at this hour? What happened?" 

"Ah, nothing. The usual... except that my father informed me that he is getting married..." he told her, pouting again 

Joohyun knew that his mother had died seven years ago because it had become an issue in the television. In general, all of Seoul knows it. So she hugged him very tightly to calm him down. 

"You will leave later with your car?" she asked him still hugging him

"Umm, I didn't come... with my car..." he told her nervously 

Joohyun looked at him "You're kidding... how will you go back later" she asked him anxiously 

"Ugh... I don't want to go back later" he told her 

Joohyun got out of his arms "No... you can't stay here! My mom is in the next door and she's sleeping. If she wakes me up in the morning how will she see me? With an unrelated boy in my bed?" 

"Hey, not an unrelated boy!" Jungkook grumbled

"I'm saying it for her....I want you to stay, just...just....it's been a long time since I've slept with a boy" she told him looking at the floor nervously 

Jungkook gulped when he heard her last words "So....you had another relationship before me?" he asked her  

"Yes... one. But I don't want to take it as a relationship anymore... let's not talk about me!" she took him by the hand and sat on her bed "Tell me everything!" she said to him 

While Jungkook was telling Joohyun all of the details, she laid on her bed and her eyes started to close from fatigue

"So... you will stay, right?" Joohyun asked him with a yawn

Jungkook nodded his head "Yes. You are very tired you should sleep" Jungkook said while taking off his jacket. He laid down next to Joohyun and hugged her 

"I don't have classes at college tomorrow. So you can stay as long as you want... but we have to watch out for my mom" she said and turned around to face him

"Don't worry. I'll wake up early to check on your mom and once she's gone I'll wake you with a really big kiss!!" he told her and kissed her forehead 

Joohyun laughed with his words "You are amazing!!" she told him and snuggled into his embrace 

"Goodnight Jungkook!...." she said to him in a very faint voice 

"Good night Joohyun!..." he responded and closed his eyes felling happiness
