Author's Notes: Hello everyone! Welcome to Sir Bright Sword's world. I'm not sure how this story got started but I really like the medieval setting. I just started brainstorming pretty much, I believe.
I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I am loving coming up with ideas for it. Also, if any of you guys have something to add to it, or if you are a medieval lover as well and could help me gear my story that way in descriptions and such, please post those ideas in the comments. I'd love to hear your ideas, thanks!

Hi. My name is Sir Bright Sword, and this is my story. I was born with an illness that made the use of my legs impossible. When I was born, and my parents found out about my disease, my mother left. She thought I was cursed. But thankfully, my dad stayed. It was hard growing up, just me and my dad. It was also hard growing up with people thinking your family has had a curse put on them. But, there were surely good times too and my dad and I were close. I have been horseback riding ever since I was able to keep myself upright on my own thanks to my dad. He bought me a horse at a very young age and as I got older that's how I would spend time with my dad, riding horses around the kingdom. Sometimes we'd even go outside the gate and roam the countryside.
Growing up, people always told me that, the day my dad couldn't pick me up and put me on one, would be the day that I couldn't ride horses anymore. But I showed them. More like my horse did. You see, over the years my horse and I created this amazing bond. He has always been protective of me. As I got older I thought about what people said about my not being able to ride after my dad couldn't pick me up anymore. But somehow my horse knew that I'd need a new system to get on him. It was amazing. The day came that my dad couldn't lift me. The horse sensed it and he knelt down so that I could get on his back then stood back up and away we went. We've been using that system ever since. Now I'm one of the king's best men. Join me in my quest to be the best I can be and serve my king to the best of my ability. Buckle up and enjoy the ride. Well, technically in medieval days you can't buckle up so... I guess just enjoy the ride. It's gonna be interesting to say the least.
