Sydney saw the acne on her face. It was coming back.
She had severe acne in school, and now that she was 24 and it was back, she was panicked.
She covered up her face with as much makeup as she could, but you could still see the texture from the bumps. She had acne all over her forehead and mouth.
She sat against her bed and sobbed, closing her curtains as to not let any light in.
She heard the door open and close and she felt her stomach drop.
Shielding her eyes as the lights were turned on, she wiped her tears hastily and faced Ringo.
"Have you turned into a vampire or something?" Ringo joked, smiling. But his face dropped when he saw you smile weakly with your eyes red and weary.
"Love." He said softly, walking over to Sydney and sitting next to her, taking her in his arms.
"What's wrong?" He asked her sadly.
"I-it's nothing. I just am getting bumps on my face again. And I had bad acne in high school, so now that it's back I'm just becoming more insecure, because it's summer and I have to swim and all of that, so how am I going to wear makeup?" She said, tears leaking out of her eyes.
"Syd, it's just a couple of bumps. You don't even notice it, I promise you. You're stunning. You glow, Sydney! You are so gorgeous you have no idea. Don't let a couple of pimples define you, ok? I know it sucks right now, and that you want to hide your face and stuff, but it doesn't look bad at all." He told her, kissing her
"Thank you, but how am I supposed to go out in public like this? You're in the greatest band in the world. People are going to see me, and-"
"If people judge you about it, I'll kill them, Syd. You're beautiful. It's normal. We're all humans in the end, right? The fans are absolutely crazy and jealous. Don't worry about them, love. All that matters is that you're happy. And don't doubt yourself for one minute, Sydney, because you are so pretty you have no idea." He told her.
"Thank you." She smiled sheepishly.
"Of course, my love."
