I huffed, frustrated with my situation. I haven't even met this so-called friend!
I opened it, halfway. He sighed. I was still mad at them okay!
"I know this isn't how you wanted to spend your summer honey, but you have to learn your lesson somehow." He said, nagging me, again.
Apparently the reason why they were sending me to this farm was for me to 'learn my lesson' because I was 'too spoiled' . Well what else did they expect, when every time they needed to say sorry, they compensated with money and material things?
"You'll learn to love it there I swear, plus you get to paint new sceneries. You love that right?" Ani naman ni mommy trying to lighten the mood.
I rolled my eyes and just closed the window. I couldn't speak to them right now, especially when I am this angry and frustrated. From my peripheral vision I saw my dad shaking his head and mom trying to comfort him. I sighed and just decided to wait for our driver.
"Kuya turn on the radio nga, I want to listen to some music." utos ko sa aking driver.
"Okay po ma'am." He pressed some buttons to turn on the radio and I got my Ipad out to draw and try to ease my boredom.
You were riding your bike ,
to the sound of "It's No Big Deal"
And you're trying to lift off the ground
on those old two wheels,
Nothing about the way that you were treated
ever seemed especially alarming 'til now,
So you tie up your hair
and you smile like it's no big deal ...
Hearing the song made me stop at lumagpas tuloy ang ginuguhit kong linya. The lyrics, the tone. I did not want to hear it. It hit too close.
I instantly panicked because I thought we would fall off the ramp. Kuya didn't even bothered to wake me up!
