.For Jungkook, pain has always been an integral part of life.
The first time he felt such heartache was when his mother died. To this day he couldn't come to terms with the fact that he would never be able to hug her again.
The next time was the father's death, which happened so suddenly, that the man still hasn't recovered from it. He just continued to live as time flowed unstoppably.
He found his salvation in the desert. The desert was always merciless and raw, it always amazed him again and again with its boundlessness and greatness.
There, for the first time, he felt his freedom, which turned into salvation.
There he felt for the first time that he wasn't abandoned by his mother and father, and for the first time in that golden expanse, he was free.
And what will happen when years later in the desert he stumbles upon an unexpected oasis? Taehyung was like a breath of fresh air for him in that hot sand.
__________
It was another quite ordinary day for Jungkook. He was sitting in his office, among thousands of papers, but still deep in thought. His thoughts wandered as usual to his favorite expanse, until the morning after that night.
With the first sun, Jungkook opened his eyes. He is used to getting up early whenever he spends the night in the desert. He looked to his right side mechanically and saw a void. He couldn't remember when Tae had gone to his tent, but he was grateful in some strange way.
As soon as he straightened up in a sitting position with the intention of looking for his shirt, he felt a strong pain in his pelvis. He immediately rubbed the spot with his hand while biting his lip lustfully thinking of the events of the previous night.
For a moment it seemed to him that he dreamed everything under the moon and stars, but soon the pain reminded him again that Taehuyng was really there last night, next to him, in him and that today is the day when he will have to face all of that.
He quickly dressed and left the tent. His gaze immediately fell not far away on three men sitting in the shade of the tent with cups in their hands. His eyes met Taehyung's and the elder smiled slightly at him.
It was not necessary to say anything, the two could communicate with their eyes.
- Mr. Jeon, good morning. Our guest is early this morning. - Ali said, alluding to another.
- Good morning. - he said out loud. while limping a little towards the table where cups with tea and plates with dried fruit were displayed.
- We should leave as soon as possible, sir. This morning the locals came to bring groceries and they said that some desert storm is approaching. - Ali continued when he noticed that Jungkook was busy sipping coffee.
- It will take us a few hours to get back to Marrakesh, that's why I immediately sent those people to bring the camels.
Ali stopped when he noticed how the younger choked while drinking the liquid. He quickly wiped his mouth with his hand, when Tae came closer and stroked his back.
- Are you okay, Kook? - he asked.
- Yes, Tae... - Jungkook moved aside as if he was avoiding the close presence of the elder.
After a tasty but light breakfast, from a distance they noticed a few people going toward the camp with four camels. Everyone got up and with their backpacks and scarves on their heads started to meet them.
