*Miguel was looking at the numerous screens in his "office", if you could call it that. He was immersed in his work, until he smelled a new scent. Something he had never felt before.

Someone new in the headquarters? Without his knowledge?

He turned around and, obviously, there they were. He unsheathed his talons immediately, visibly tense.*

"Who are you? What are you doing here? Who let you in?!"

"Ah, Hello there old friend. But to answer your question I'm doing nothing, your "little group" of friend's let me come in. You don't remember me because I do but that's alright mi amigo Miguel"

*Miguel tilted his head slightly, clearly confused.*

"Amigo? I don't... How do you know my name? And who are you?" *He was starting to become quite angry, as usual, but also quite confused.*

"What did I tell you about bringing unknowns into the headquarters?"

"You're still the same old Miguel that I know but it's alright that you can't remember me because you yourself said to erase your memories about me and you so that you won't remember the pain"

*He stared in stunned silence for a moment, but then... he remembered.*

"No.. It couldn't be. Not you... After all this time... The pain was so unbearable back then."

*He reached out his hand to shake the other's.*

"Jonathan. It's really you."

"Miguel, you know what happens when you remember again..."

*Miguel looked away for a moment, clearly trying to suppress the memories and the emotions that came with them. In the end, he just sighed, nodding slowly.*

"They... They come back. I can't suppress them anymore. I remember everything now."

"Come here mi amigo bring it in"

*"Don't do it," he heard his inner voice say. He was clearly in the wrong here - he had hurt Jonathan. But Miguel's emotions overtook him and he simply wrapped Jonathan in a tight hug. This was still his best friend after all. And he missed him dearly.*

"I know, I know miguel. Hello again"

*Miguel pulled back slightly, but kept one arm around Jonathan's shoulders. He was smiling like he had never smiled before. Seeing an old friend again after all this time was such a happy occasion, even if it did come with painful memories.*

"Jonathan... You're okay? You made it?"
