Falling... he was falling.
Down
Down
Down into oblivion.
Okay, it wasn't actually into oblivion, there was an end. In fact, Viper got to find that out with a nice, painful slam into the ground.
Groaning, he rolled onto his side and opened his eyes... only to find that he could barely see a thing.
What was going on?
"PLANT!?" Was that David...?
"Oh, geez I fell right on my back." Huh, sounded like that girl... Kat was it?
He could definitely hear the murmurings and shouts of the others. At least he wouldn't be completely oblivious to what was happening. After all, he could just threaten some answers out of them.
Surprisingly, Jasper didn't say anything in response to his comment...
This was really starting to get weird.
"Ah, it seems we've got some intruders in our farm." Wait a second... Was that-
"ALUMOS?!" Viper called turning his head in the direction of the voice.
Frustration built up inside him until he was fuming with irritation.
WHERE WAS HE?
WHY WAS NO ONE ANSWERING HIM?!
"WHAT'S GOING ON?!" He shouted, but still, no one answered.
"Oh wait..." Lucas murmured.
Ignoring the call from Lucas, Viper growled and, with his little vision, stalked toward the closest blue-haired individual he could find.
Hoping it was the one who pushed him through the portal, he screamed out, "WHY DID YOU PUSH ME THROUGH!?"
"I thought you were a part of Divinus Magia." The person said.
GRAHHHHH >:(
The others went on to talk amongst themselves, muttering something about ownership over the farm. Honestly, Viper couldn't care less. All he cared about was figuring out where he was.
Speaking of which...
"WHERE AM I?!"
"Oh, Viper, you can't see, can you?" Lucas said worriedly, turning to the others. "You know he uses magic to see, right?"
"WAIT, SO HE ACTUALLY CAN'T SEE NOW?" David asked, rushing forward to peer at the dragon slayer.
"I can still beat the **** out of you if you get too close! Besides, I can see, it's just not that great!"
He saw a blue blur come closer to him, it was probably Ritchie. Oh, how he wanted to punch him...
"Look, all you need to know is that we're in a place called Salode. My brother and my homeworld... And its a place without magic"
Well ****.
****! ****! ***! ****! ****! ****! ****! ****! ****!
This day really wasn't going well.
He couldn't believe... he was actually...
Back...
He couldn't see it, and he was pretty sure he wasn't in his hometown...but... The... feeling was the same. He didn't know how he hadn't realized before...
There was a pretty big problem with this though, and no, it wasn't the blindness. It was... her...
Well ****.
(TIIIIMMEE SKIIIP OF MAGICALLL AMAZINGNESSSSS)
**** his head was killing him. It had been years since he had actually gotten a hangover, and he'd nearly forgotten how ******* horrible they were.
When he'd woken up, he had been extremely disoriented... He wasn't exactly sure what happened last night, but he was pretty certain he had embarrassed himself. He just hoped that wasn't the case...
Unfortunately, he was proven wrong when he met up with the others.
They just went on and on about what a fool he made of himself. Honestly couldn't these pathetic donut-eating, cookie-sharing, *******, just shut the **** up?!
"Ah good, it seems we're all gathered here now," Alumos said after they all settled down. "Is it possible we could start talking about the party tonight?"
"Well, myself and my brother had a word with our families and it seems the party is a go," Ritchie informed, shifting uncomfortably away from Devin. Huh, wonder what was up with them.
WAIT- IT'S NOT LIKE HE CARED OR ANYTHING, PSHHHH.
GAH, Kay had really started getting to him, huh?
"So wait, what's going on?"
"Ohhh, he doesn't remember anything!" Alumos said with a chuckle, glancing over at Kit and the others.
Geez, he must have gotten really drunk...
"Anyway, we're going to try and get Ritchie's father drunk!" Devin said as he too, shifted slightly away from Ritchie.
Eh???
What was that supposed to accomplish?
These idiots... Well, if push came to shove, and it didn't end up working... He could always do it the old-fashioned way, with a knife against skin.
"We also have a... certain guest coming."
Huh?
"As the party is a celebration... Of Francesca's arrival for my brother."
...
"Come here Mitchie Darling... I just want to play!"
Hand pressed to his bleeding stomach, Mitch ran as far and as fast as he possibly could while wounded. He raced through corridors, through winding stairwells, and even across rooftops, but it wasn't enough.
Too much blood was lost, too much pain to keep running.
Eventually, he collapsed to the floor.
Then she arrived...
"Viper? Viper are you alright?!"
Alumos was calling for him, and while Viper knew he should respond, his mouth wouldn't move. He felt himself be grasped by the shoulders, but it still didn't pull him out of his stupor.
Why why why why why?
Heart in his throat, he finally spoke, "I-I have to go." And with that, he raced off, hoping he would somehow end up back at the castle.
"Mitchie darling... Won't you play with me?"
