This is a disclaimer. I do not know much about the spider-verse except for what I saw in the Spiderman 2018 movie with Miles Morals and the Spiderman 2023 movie with Miguel O'Hara. There will be some things that are not accurate as they are my imagination. Regardless, I hope you enjoy :)

Chapter 1~

My ears are ringing. I open my eyes and see a dust cloud surrounding me. I attempt to move my arms and it's painful. I sigh. I must have fallen from very high up. I shift uncomfortably and strain to push myself up. I stand up and look at my body imprint in the cement. My whole body feels like it's been beat up, painful soreness oozing from every move.

The ringing in my ears calms down and it's replaced with a police siren instead. I look in the direction of the siren and see a cop car driving down the street towards me. Run! My instinct screams at me. Don't be seen!  With the dust cloud still around me, I start to hobble towards an alley ignoring the screaming pain in my legs. I don't get far and sit down beside a garbage dumpster, shielding me from the street.

I take a deep breath in and out, trying to control my heartbeat. Slow it down, if they feel the fear they'll find you. Who's they? I try to rack my brain and I can't remember anything. I can't remember anything at all. Where did I come from? Who am I running from? Where am I? Why am I here? ...... Who am I?

The slam of a car door jolts me from my thoughts and I lean over to see what's happening. Two men exit the car and walk over to where I was just lying down. I wish I could hear them. Suddenly their voices become louder, no, more like I could hear their exact voices better. Weird. "It seems to be an imprint of a human." one of the cops stated. "This ain't no human, they'd be dead if they ever made that big of a dent in cement." the other counters. "Hmm that's true, well whatever it is walked out unscattered. It's probably already miles away." "Let's tape the area and search around just in case. Report this back to headquarters." They separate and I lean back against the wall.

I need to get out of here before more of them come and find me. I try to move my legs but the stabbing pain comes back. I hold back a hiss. I close my eyes and take deep breaths. I need more time to heal. I should have about 5 minutes before this place is swarmed with people.

"Woah, that's a pretty big hole." A new voice enters. "Spiderman!" the cop yells. "Funny I get that a lot, ah who am I kidding, it's me, Spiderman. So my fellow comrade in arms, what's the situation?" I lean over and see a man standing there in a red and black body suit. What a funny costume. "We're not sure. Many people reported the sound of a crash and dust engulfing this area. We assumed it was a car crash, but as you can see, that's not the case." The man called spiderman bends over and inspects the hole. "Did you see anyone?" he asks. "No, it was exactly like this when we got here." "Hmm, I'm just going to take a quick look around." "Of course Spiderman, also may I say that I'm such a huge fan." "Of course you can, I always appreciate meeting enthusiastic fans." The cop pulls out his phone and they proceed to take a selfie.

This spiderman guy doesn't seem to be a very serious guy. I continue to watch him when suddenly he turns his head in my direction. I slam my head back into the wall. Shit Shit, he's actually the most dangerous of them all. I don't know if he saw me, but I knew I had to get out of there. "Thanks so much Spiderman!" "Not a problem!" I hear a set of footsteps walk towards the vehicle and I hear another walk tentatively in the alley towards me.

"Helloooo, anyone there?" I stop breathing. The man named Spiderman knows that I'm here. I begin to panic. I search my brain for a way out but nothing comes to mind. I don't have time to run and currently with me injured, I can't fight. The steps get louder and louder as he approaches me. I wish I could just disappear, just vanish or blend into my surroundings like a chameleon. He must be about 5 steps away from me. I have no plan, the only thing I know is that I am not going down without a fight.

He steps in front of me and looks around. He looks right at me and I freeze. I brace myself for what is to come. He proceeds to scan the rest of the alley and takes a couple steps past me walking out of sight.. He didn't see me. I don't know how but he didn't see me. I let go of my breath that I didn't realize I was holding and put my hand on my heart as an attempt to slow it down. I look down and realize that I can't see my hand, or my legs, or any body part. I know it's there as I can feel it, but it's like they turned invisible. They turned invisible, I turned invisible. Why? How? I don't know but I've never been more thankful.

I hear the steps from Spiderman return and I freeze again. Stay invisible, stay invisible. I chant in my head. He stops in front of me. "Weird," he mumbles, "I swear I felt something, I still feel something." He looks around once more, not noticing me. He shrugs and makes his way out of the alley into the street.

This is my time to leave. I push myself up ignoring the pain and make my way to the middle of the alley. I feel optimistic, I can escape without being seen. All of a sudden the world glitches. I glitch and it is the most painful thing I have ever experienced. I scream out and fall to the ground, my vision going different colors, my organs twisting and every cell in my body getting all mixed up. It must have lasted 2 seconds, but it felt way too long.

My spine tingles as I look up and see Spiderman staring right at me. Flee my instincts scream at me. I stand up and see this web going straight for me, I throw myself out of the way, knowing not to get hit. I look up and see him running straight for me. I turn and run. Now would be a great time to turn invisible I think to myself. And I do. I stop and squish myself to the wall. I watch as spiderman runs past me and deeper into the alley. I stay where I am and hold my breath.

He returns. He raises his hand and begins to tap his watch. A ringing sound comes out and he waits. "What is it?" A deep solemn voice says. A man with a red and black mask appears as a little hologram on his watch. "We have an anomaly." Spiderman replies. "I need backup."
