What Happened?

Forth's POV

We were at the café for about half an hour, and Ming still hadn't said anything. Beam and I were growing increasingly impatient. I had a feeling that I knew what this conversation was about, but Beam seemed completely lost.

"Why did you drag me here so early in the morning, Forth? I have a massive hangover, and it better be for a good reason," Beam whispered irritably into my ear, knowing that Ming wasn't in any condition to listen to complaints.

"It's about Phana. Does that pique your interest?" I responded, hoping to catch Beam's attention.

"Fine, spill the beans," Beam asked, no he demanded. It's about his best friend so of course he has the right to know. I looked at Ming and he sighed for the nth time and at last rested back at the chair.

"I fvcked up?" Ming finally admitted.

"What do you mean you fvcked up?" I asked. Now I am getting a feeling that he has done something to Phana and It's not a good feeling. I hope it's not what I am thinking. He looked at me with those lost eyes.

"Ming, what happened? What is it between you two?" Beam looked at me and then at Ming.

"What is happening? What is it guys?" Beam's tone showed that he was worried at this point.

"I.....I slept with.....Ph..........Pha?" Ming stuttered, and my jaw dropped in shock.

"So what You slept with Pha. Did you guys share a room? There is nothing wrong in sharing a room." Beam said not understanding the situation. Or was he too shocked to comprehend what the hell Ming just said?

"P Beam. I slept with Pha. I had sex with him." Beam just looked at him without saying anything.

"Are you playing some kind of joke with us right now? But for your information, it does not seem funny to me," Beam said irritably. I grabbed his hand, and he slammed it on the table.

"Beam, calm down," I tried, but he ignored whatever I was saying.

"Don't tell me it was not consensual."

"We were drunk."

"When was it?"

"2 weeks."

"He didn't tell me or Kit," Beam mumbled and looked at Ming again.

"Wayo. What about Wayo? You broke up with Kit, but he did not. Why the heck did you do it, Ming?"

"We were drunk, and I started to like him after I broke up with Kit. We were hanging out together for weeks. And that day, he was just upset, and I was trying to console him. We got drunk, and then I don't know who started it first, but it just happened," Ming tried to reason, but it was not the problem they slept. The problem was we don't know what is happening with these two now. And Wayo.

"Ming, you are not understanding. He has a boyfriend, and the way you guys were yesterday, I think it's more than a one-night stand," I said what was on my mind since last night.

"It was not a one-night stand, P. I don't regret that. Not then, not now. I just regret the situation Pha and I are in."

"What are you trying to say?" Beam asked.

"I like Phana. I love him. I've known this since the day I went to his dorm and spent a night talking about anything. But he had Wayo at that time, and I could not betray him. So I just told Pha to forget about it, that it was a mistake."

"Wait a second. He had Wayo, what do you mean?" I cut him off from what he was saying.

"He...Pha broke up with Wayo?"
