"What's bothering you?"

Tej takes a glance at his wife before taking a turn saying, "Nothing."

"Tej!" Kirti calls sternly.

He sighs saying, "Nothing is fine." Kirti frowns hearing that and he further says thinking while driving, "You know, it has been a while the last time I took my wifey on a Golappa ride due to busy schedule. I wonder if she will forgive me."

Kirti smiles says, "If you take her tonight for the ride, then may be, she will." A grin comes on his face. He takes her hand and kisses it driving for their little date, only to distract her for not asking him what's eating him up.

At Anshuman's House 🏡 :

"Why are you so silent these days?" Rohan asks softly to his girlfriend over the phone call in the midnight when everyone is already asleep.

Gia was sitting on her study chair in her room. She was staring at their family picture of all the youngsters of the family on the table with a fallen face and says sadly sighing, "You remember, she threatened us. And Ari said that even that Divij, also threatened her when she got him arrested."

Rohan stays silent thinking about the only kid who left the whole family worried sick for her with questions which they wanted to ask her so badly and their numbers were increasing day by day, but they had no answers, not even one answer to their numerous questions. Rohan sighs understanding Gia's worry for her cousin.

Gia says slowly, "I'm just. . . I'm just afraid. What if anyone of them hurted her?" She remembers the timing when her cousin sister was attacked by common people with stones at her college, the timing when Avni acted all innocent and accused Nishi of lying in the get together in front of the entire family. She sighs frustratedly and says, "You know her well! She doesn't care before jumping into danger to save others and this is what irritates me more! I'm worried sick for her!"

"Do you trust me?" Rohan asks her out of the blue.

"Off course I do! Stupid! What are you thinking?" Gia asks getting irritated with the situation and now her boyfriend's stupid question.

"Because she is my best friend now. She is not less than Mann for me. She is the reason I'm with you today, Gia. Otherwise, I would not have gotten the guts to tell you that I love you. It's all because of her that Kabir is out of his darkness now. She is the reason behind all these beautiful changes around us. You think I will let just anyone hurt my best friend just like that and do nothing?" He remembers the car memory when he took her back to her home and tried to show her the mirror after the party while he should have seen it himself and says lowly, "I know we all made mistakes but I guess, it was what those criminals wanted, our trust. . . which they got only to break it." He sighs and further says, "I'm not going to explain myself because I know I'm at fault." Then he adds angrily, "But now I won't let just anyone hurt her anymore. I promise you she will be safe and Avni will pay for hurting our Nishu!" His tone softens as he says, "Trust me. And please, stop worrying. We all are here for her. We are not going to let anything happen to her. Even, Bhaiya cares for her now, may be the most, whether he accepts it or not at anyone's face." Rohan assures her making her smile brightly.
