Chapter 27: Mistress

Y/n's POV
The first lecture was boring obviously but now I get to go to my favorite class with Oliva. I see her in the hall ways and call to her. Once she sees me she runs to me at full speed. I probably would've fallen if I hadn't prepared myself for the body flying toward me. I laugh and give her a big hug. We have a conversation about what's been going on in Oliva's life since she's more talkative than me.

We say our Goodmornings to Ms.Romanoff and get settled into our seats. "How are you feeling after what happened with your mistress at the club?" "I'm fine but I still stand by what I said. She shouldn't have been dancing that close to her." The last sentence you say you mumble to yourself but Oliva still hears you and says "Their friends Y/n. How many times do I have to tell you?" You roll your eyes at her as you turn your attention to the beautiful women at the front of the classroom.

When the class is over you get your homework and say goodbye to Oliva and before you leave Natasha invites you to have lunch with her. Although your still annoyed about what happened at the club you agree and leave the classroom to head home and get ready.

Before you leave for lunch with Natasha though you finish your homework and put on a light pink blush dress for lunch with Nat.

She picks you up from your apartment and drives you to get lunch. When you get there she helps you out of the car and takes you to your seats. You start to chat about anything that comes to mind while waiting for you and Nat's food when Natasha says "What exactly are you going to do after college detka?" You squeeze your legs together at the name but say "Well my aunt owns the best law firm there is so I'll work with her." She raises an eye brow and says "What her name?" "My aunts name is Cassandra Ryker." Natashas face is filled with shock. "The Cassandra Ryker?" You nod your head. "How come you never told me this and why do you two have different last names?"

Before you can answer her questions your orders are brought. You eat a bite of your food before speaking again once you swallow your food "I didn't think it was anything important and my aunt is from my moms side of the family. My mother changed her name when she got married to my dad. She cut off my mom for obvious reasons but toke care of me as if I was her daughter. That's why I want to be a lawyer I was inspired by her. She's taught me more than anything college ever could. No offense." She nods her head and says "None taken I mean I can't compete when it comes to Ms.Ryker." You nod in agreement with her.

"What did you do before teaching?" You ask curious to learn more about your professor. "We'll before I was a teacher I was an avenger and work for Nick furry of S.H.I.E.LD. That's also where I met Wanda and Carol." "And why did you quit?" She thinks for a minute before saying "We'll after losing my best friend Clint I decided it was best to leave the fighting days behind me. Start fresh I guess. I didn't want to lose anyone else so I quit." "I'm sorry about your friend but why did you choose teaching?" "I choose to teach because I wanted to do something with law and thought to be a teacher of law." You hum in understanding and finish your food.
