Tenko swam around the reef in the morning, basically checking on everything and looking for small new treasures for himself. He was still very close to the cave. He had woken up rather early. He swore he had almost felt happy to wake up again and get ready for the day by combing his hair and taking care of his fins. Almost all of them. He could hardly reach the fin on his back and back of his tail. The Mer swam around almost excitingly as he wasted time while waiting for the Siren and some breakfast.

Touya was awoken by the realization he had Tenko to take care of. It was obvious that he had gone to bed late around midnight because he was with Tenko, at the shore. Looking at the stars. And attempting to maybe kiss him but failing out of shyness and embarrassment..

He swam out of the water palace. Making his way to the coral reef. Catching fish and some shrimp. Since he knew by now that's what Tenko liked the most.

Tenko was carrying a few empty sea shells back to the cave when he saw Touya. He gave a low smile and let him swim closer. "Good morning."

Touya swam up to him, smiling a little. "Morning, I hope you slept alright. I got you some fish and shrimp for breakfast." He swam to the cave and placed the stuff down as he looked at him. "Today, we'll go shark hunting." He grinned.

"Oh really? But...I don't know how to hunt." He first sounded excited but then sad. It made him feel...so much worse to be ...fully aware that he was basically useless in that place. He set down the sea shells.

"Exactly. I'm gonna teach you. I'll hunt. You watch. And then you try to hunt one. And I'll be with you. So you ain't gonna get eaten by one anytime soon on my watch." He smiled. "Go on, eat up. You need energy to hunt."

He looked at him first confused and then filled with joy. "Okay!" He dug into his food the next second while happily munching.

The Siren smiled softly as the male as he fixed up his hair a little bit. Sighing as he looked out the entrance of the cave a little bit. He just let the other finish his meal before they'd go hunting.

When Tenko was done with his meal he joined his side as they both swam through the reef and to the hunting spot. Tenko looked around and moved his ears around to try and find something for the two to hunt while he guided them. He was happy...that he was taught how to hunt now.

They swam through the reef a little bit before finding a hammer head shark in the deeper part of the ocean. He smiled at him. "Bingo!" He swam next to Tenko. "Alright. Watch and learn. Next shark is your victim." He hummed and quickly swam towards it. Attacking and biting at its fin. The shark was trying to fight back but it couldn't swim because he was hanging onto his fin. He ripped out a piece of its flesh. Making the creature bleed to its death.

The other gave a small huff as he swam closer to the bow dead shark. He went to it's snout and caressed it before he gave a small hum. "May you return to the godmother in heath." He whispered and closed his eyes for a second.

The Siren Prince simply watched as he shurged and took a chunk out of it as he handed it to him. "Here. We'll leave the rest for the other animals to eat. It's nature." He explained. Looking around for more victims. If they didn't kill these sharks. They'd be eaten by whales or orcas sooner or later so it didn't matter.

The other took the piece and ate it, being slow and savoring the taste since he usually would only have fish or shrimp...and his kind believed in a merciful death. That no soul should suffer while dying and be treated with dignity.

He then went to put the shark on the ground, being careful as he wished it the best for its travels back to the Godmother.

The male smiled softly as he let the shark sink. A few carnivorous fish came up and started eating it. He shurged and motioned him to follow again. "C'mon." He huffed. Swimming towards the deeper part of the sea. There was a white shark. He looked at him. "Go get it. It's important for you to know how to hunt. Or at least hunt the creature if it attacks you out of hunger so you're learning survival with self defense too."
