chapter one

summer break finnally started and Lyla is sitting in her window reading a book.  Across the street is an old building no one has lived in for years. Suddenly a moving truckrides into the street and parks right infront of the old house. "wait did some one buy the house? but its so old and no one has lived there for ages" Lyla thought while staring at the truck. the doors of the truck open whilst Lyla is sitting at the top of her seat trying to see who walks out. I'ts a family of 3 mom, dad and thier daughter. They quickly start to unload thier stuff and bring it into the old house. "No way they really did bought that house im curious about how they will repair it. And i could make a new friend" Lyla thaught. 

Later that day  Lyla took her dog for a walk around the neighbourhood like she does every evening. whilst walking her standart route she sees the new neighbour. "isn't that the girl who moved across the street? should i say hi? see looks pretty cool!". A million thoughts wen't trough her head while trying to decide if she should say hi or not.   

 Suddenly the new girl starts walking towards Lyla. "am i naked and i didn't know or sum or do you stare at every one who walks bye?" the girl said. Lyla whas so shocked and imberrased that she didn't know what to say and just stood there quitly. "hello?! i'm talking to you" the girl said. Lyla finally opend her mouth and responded" oh i'm sorry i didn't mean to be rude. I'm Lyla and i live across from you're house. I saw you moving in this morning"       "okey... nice to meet ya but next time try not to stare as much i'ts kinda rude and creepy! i'm Jade by the way" said the new girl. Lyla whas still a bit imberrased bc of this encounter so she just looked down and didn't say any thing back. "hey i have an idea sinds you live across me why don't i walk back home with you? it's already a bit dark  so it's safer togheter and maby i can get to know you a bit more?" Jade said. Lyla just nodded and started walking.

On the're way back they didn't talk much and it was kinda akward. "okey we're here, maby next time you see me instead of staring you could just say hi ;)" Jade said whilst walking to her front door. "maby............... but your just so pretty to look at" as soon as Lyla realised what she said she runned to her house and slammed the door close as fast as she could. "oh no why did i say that?! now she'll think i'm even more of a freak!! she'll probebly never talk to me ever again" Lyla thought whilst running to her bedroom. 

Across the street Jade was still standing outside. She whas a bit confused about the interaction but liked the compliment non the less. When she walked back into her house she let out a tiny smirk.

Later that night Lyla wakes up to go to the restroom and to get a glass of water.  When she was getting a glass from the kitchen she suddenly heard a bang fallowed up with a scream. Lyla nearly dropped her glass out of shock. After calming down she went to the window hoping to see what's going on and who screamd. "There was no one on the streets so who or what could it be?" "the only house that still has lights on is Jade's house but i don't see any one fighting so that can't be right" Lyla thought while walking away from the window on her way back to bed
