"We're getting close guys. Let's meet on the bridge and we'll come up with a game plan." Clarion called over the intercom.

Soon, they were all there, surrounding the holographic table that lay in the center of the room, which displayed a 3-D scale model of Manhattan. Well...everyone except Liam and Juzou. Clarion would never admit it to any of them, lest he break his tough-guy act, but he missed them dearly. Without Liam's stim shots, Clarion's body was beginning to ache terribly. More than that, he was a brilliant inventor of modest character. I miss the way he used to mutter to himself when I'd walk in, always going on about his next big invention.

Well, soon, they'd have him back. They had to. Both him and Juzou.

"Right." Clarion inclined his head to group before them. "There are two matters we need to discuss. One: With Athena's excellent counterintelligence expertise, we've been able to track down Liam. Two: We're about an hour's ride out from a suitable point to ditch the boat."

"Wait, back up, back up. You found Liam?! Where the hell is he?" Tempest asked.

"He wasn't at Shredder HQ." Artemis sighed, eyes still red and stuffy from fresh tears. "That's for sure."

"Exactly. Well, Athena noticed something when she was surfing private channels: Particularly, Roman Titanus' private connections between various Political and Military leaders. There's not much in the file, but they mention something called Project Prime. And it talks of a Subject with enhanced Technopathic abilities. It could be any Hephaestus Godkin for all we know, but we have no choice but to assume it's him. So, I'm assigning a two-man team to first run reconnaissance. Once it's confirmed that he's there, you'll extract him.

"We still have two days until the UN Summit, so you have until then to get him out safely and get him back here. We'll deal with the bullshit that the Government pulled with him after we solve our Adastros problem."

"Wait, what about Juzou?" Devyn asked, arms crossed as he leaned against the wall. "Where's he?"

"That's yet to be determined. It's possible that he escaped capture and is just waiting for the right time to surface." Athena said rather emotionlessly.

"And, worst-case?" Thane was the one to ask the question. To Clarion, it almost seemed as though the human might actually care.

Clarion chuckled in his mind. Of course, the man cared. Thane wouldn't be Thane if he didn't.

Still, they had to face the facts.

"It's unlikely that this is the case, as Artemis didn't find any blood belonging to Juzou at HQ, neither his scent. But...worst-case: he's dead."

That seemed to succeed in bringing the mood down.

"Well...who do you want on this mission?" Dorian stumbled into the room.

Artemis gasped, turning toward the man. It seemed that he'd just woken up. He wore no shirt, had bandages over his midsection to protect his still healing ribs. Aside from that, he just appeared a bit exhausted.

Yet, Artemis still rushed to his side, ready to help him. "You shouldn't be out of bed, dumbass." Artemis snapped, kindly helping him sit against the wall beside Devyn.

"Nice. Say something mean but do something kind. You're weird." Dorian laughed. "I was just wondering where everyone was. Heard the question. Still need an answer. Who are we sending?"
