Chat moved side to side, avoiding Lady Wifi's advances.

She was somehow quicker, and more powerful than the last time they fought.

A yell diverted his attention across the room. There in front of him was Ladybug, caught in Lady Wifi's hold.

"Ladybug!" he yelled out. Running over to go stop the akumatized villain, Chat felt like he was stuck in slow motion. And little did he know, he was. Ladywifi had put him in a time trap, playing in slow motion.

He didn't stop trying to get over to Ladybug, but it was too late, she was already de-transforming. Having already used her Lucky Charm.

"M'Lady!" Chat yelled right before her suit fully disappeared.

A bright light shone before him, a blinding light.

When the light cleared and he could see, there right where Ladybug once stood was Marinette. The girl from his class. The girl he couldn't stop thinking about.

Shocked, he was frozen, unable to move, run to her, say anything...

"Kid, wake up! You're going to be late for school!" Plagg yelled, having been trying to wake Adrien up from whatever nightmare he seemed to have been having.

While getting ready for school, he was stuck in a fog, his nightmare, no, dream, making him rethink everything. Bringing to light something he'd been ignoring for quite a while now.

The more he dwelled on the thought, the more the similarities he saw. The more his lady and his purrincess combined into one person.

For so long Adrien had shoved the thought far away, knowing that it was just a delusion. That there was no way he could be that lucky. Knowing the thought only hurt him to think about.

Yet, the past couple days he's spent with Marinette, she's shown a side of herself to him that he knew existed, but had never personally experienced. The confident side of Marinette.

That, along with the fact they had the same hair color, the same mesmerizing bluebell eyes, and the same voice, he couldn't help but wonder if maybe he was in fact that lucky. The more he thought about it, it was like a sheath had lifted, allowing him to see clearly.

But he wouldn't dare bring up his assumption to Plagg. Knowing Ladybug's identity is one of the big no-nos, and especially what if he was wrong? What if it truly was his own delusions causing him to see similarities that weren't even there.

...

Walking into school, not only was Marinette on time once again, but she was early.

Sitting in her seat for class, Marinette saw Adrien walking into the room. Her newfound confidence around the model was well alive and not going anywhere. "Hi Adrien!" she yelled from across the room, waving him over to come take his seat.

This time, it was the blond who was the one to stutter. "H-hi Marinette," Adrien said. Trying to shake away the image of a Red and black spotted mask resting on Marinette's face.

Sitting down, he was admiring her hair. She had two dutch braids on the top of her head, with a green and black ribbon woven into her hair, both braids meeting in the back of her head tied into a bun.

"Wow Marinette, your hair looks amazing!" he said feeling a bit more confident. She took the compliment with grace. And yet that hurt a bit. Adrien surprisingly missed how flustered she would usually get when he compliments her.

"That's what I was saying girl, you've been holding back on us," Alya said, always amazed by the designers abilities. Nino nodded along, agreeing with Alya.
