Mr jinks had his fur all tangled with stress from managing all the different tasks mayor huckleberry asked for. Of course he was enjoying the time he and huck spent together, but just wished he didn't have to many jobs to do or paper to file, but finally he just had one more paper to do and he was free for the afternoon.
"Oh boy, this uh- looks like a lotta work, but it'll just take a minute" Mr jinks said to himself as he began to write the necessary documents down, when all of a sudden the mayor crashed through the door with a look that surprised the poor jinks.
He immediately threw the pen down and leaped to check on the mayor. Huck's head spinning from the impact as he sat down on the floor to calm down.
"OH MY GOD! MAYOR! ARE -UH Ya okay"?!
Jinks said stammering his words from worry while he helped up huckleberry hound from the floor.
"Oh my, I didn't mean to scare yew, Mr jinks" huckleberry composed himself as he dusted off his shoulders, looking at Mr jinks with worry.
"However, I do have some mighty big news to tell you about, which is why I flew right into the office" huckleberry said, preparing to deliver the news to Mr jinks, which just made him look even more worried.
"H-WHAT IS IT MAYOR?!?" Jinks replied with fear. His throat hurting from the knot he felt inside from his anxiety. What could the mayor tell him that he came into the room all dramatic like that?!? Is he hurt from slamming through the door? What news is he going to say?
"Well I don't know how to say this but..." Huck's words stammered off, as if he didn't want to worry Mr Jinks even more, but he knew that face all too well, and had to swallow his own fears to deliver the hardest news he ever had to tell.
So with a reassured gesture, huckleberry hound grabbed Mr jinks hand, softly patted it, looked him in his eyes, and calmly said,
"It's the anniversary of Jellystone's foundation"
Mr Jinks's face back at Huck's was a mixture of relief, and wanting to scream "what the fuck" at the mayor for making him worry so badly.
