Final destination - Ohio

Chapter XII - A Worthy Foe

Previously on Final Destination Ohio:

The masked ninjas lead the gang to a small cabin in the woods. There they meet an old man, the ruler of the masked ninjas. He explains that he just wanted to ask for help. He and the ninjas protect the Amazon Rainforest from people who want to destroy it, but a powerful organization appeared and started harvesting the forest. The gang agreed to help and immediately went to see what was happening. At the edge of the jungle they saw countless machines of different shapes & sizes cutting down wood, leaving nothing behind. They easily dealt with the machines but it was clear they were designed for cutting wood not fighting. As the sun sets down they see even bigger mechs approaching from the horizon. This time with actual weapons.

"Not even a chance heh" - smiles Pele menacingly

"fr" - added Sinai

"It ain't over yet though, they got backup" - Farima pointed at the mechs approaching

"like they are gonna be different huh" - James shrugged it off

Farima pulled out some binoculars and started inspecting the mechs

Orango was't very satisfied with the last fight - "Huh James is right... Well I could at least try another potion out"

Cifer on the other side was very happy.

Lama sat on a tree top and started crying as he couldn't test out the gift he got from Farima.

Pablo tried to calm him down - "Hey there is more robots approaching!" - and he succeded. Lama stopped crying but Farima was quick to ruin his mood - "Highly doubt these guys have easily accessible humans. They must be stuffed away deep where it is safe."

Lama started crying once again.

The gang sat still for a few seconds as though they were waiting for the mechs to come to them.

The ADHD quickly kicked in and they got bored

Mladjo had a great idea - "Lets just go to them instead of waiting for the to come!"

Everyone was amazed. So they started running.

The sun set as they approached the mechs. They blocked the sun and looked quite badass, like some cowboy movie. The gang was also kind of excited to hopefully test out their powers.

When they were at a distance of around 200 meters, the largest mech (around 20 meters in height) launched 2 missiles from rocket launcher mounted on it's back.

Pele pulled put his own mech suit to shoot down the missiles. Before he had the chance to even aim, the smallest mech (around 3 meters in height) outran the missiles and caught Pele off guard. It went in for a powerful punch.

Pele knowing that he most likely wouldn't survive such a powerful punch, said to himself - "Jebemu sunac"

But in that moment, Pablo came in clutch jumping in front of Pele and taking the hit. He didn't have time to use the biggest bird technique, but his natural durability is still the highest in the gang so he had the highest chance of survival.

Either way they were both sent of flying all the way back in to the rainforest, their screams fading in to the distance.

The gang watched in awe as their friends got sent over the country faster than an aliexpress package.

Well now they could take a good look at the mech. It had a very humanoid shape, except the helmet looking head and smooth plates on the back representing wings. It was a mix of cyan and dark blue + some shiny silver details and outlines. Other notable thing is that it had some text written on its right arm going from the shoulder to the wrist "04-HERMES".
