As you may see on the image above, this is Avery collins, the 15 year old main character of this story, now a lot of story's have the main character, well mostly act like the main character, but Avery, has always lived as a side character. Due to her.. past appearance. But this summer, as you may read from the title, Avery is much different then before, rather that be.. looks, body, or attitude. And thankfully, style.

Rebecca Sinclair is also 15, and happens to be Avery's best friend, and considered sister. Avery and Rebecca have known each other since the first grade, and have been inseparable since. Rebecca is the more attention receiving friend, who is usually, and no offense, self absorbed with her popularity, and strong personality. But until death, Rebecca will always be there for,  and love avery.

Austin collins, is Avery's protagonist brother who is awfully stand off and can at sometimes be considered barbarically annoying, but also, presumably attractive to one of averys closest friends..?  Which, as assumed, Avery is not to happy about. But Austin is not just for looks, he is also at most protective, and deep feeling. But of course, he has his brotherly instincts which are insanely irritating.

Oliver, or let's cut to the chase, is Avery's first love interest, who, I personally tolerate. He's a charismatic guy who deeply feels, for Avery, but also for the planet itself, though he has the looks of a rough exterior ( which is a plus for Avery ) he is the complete opposite in the best way possible.

My personal favorite brother, Julian is and I will not lie, that one hoey brother who is on everyoooooones smash list, including mine,.
Julian works at the country club along with Austin, and is best friends with him. Julian is kind at most times, but is also jealous with the relationship between his brother, and Avery.
Julian has always had eyes for Avery since the first summer. But had always put it behind him, for his brother. But that all came crashing down when it came to Avery, completely changing.

As I think we can all tell from his title, Quinn is Avery's mystery boy who she's been head over heels for since the day she locked eyes with him. Quinn is obviously Julian's brother, who is the oldest of the pear. He gives very bad boy energy which Avery had found interesting, since he was the complete opposite last summer, although she can relate.
