Chapter 13. Best freinds?

Daiki and Suki continued to train. Daiki taught her how to tell if a demon is nearby quicker and how to dodge attacks easier. A couple of moments later, Daiki's crow came flying to them both, babbling about something. "Head north east! Head north east! Suki and daiki must Head North East! And get there quickly,because there are young girls going missing!" The crow continued to babble about.

Daiki glanced at the crow. "I guess let's go then,shall we?" He started to walk with her. Daiki kept stealing glances at suki, Suki noticed it but didn't say anything about it. The sky was filled with small bright stars and a big bright moon. "The moon is beautiful tonight,isn't it?" Daiki spoke. "Huh? Oh,I guess so." Suki replied back.

They finally got to the small town,the streets filled with worried and concerned people. Suki walked up to a small group of people. "Hello,my name is Suki Ito. I'm here to find out what's happening to all of the young girls. Do you know anything about this?" Suki said quietly. The group of people trembled and spoke. "W-well...every night,atleast 3 girls go missing!.. and it always happens at exactly midnight,maybe a couple minutes after..." suki nodded. "I see.." she walked away from them and went back to daiki. "The demon should strike at midnight,so we need to find it before then." She said to daiki. They started to walk around the town. A few moments later,suki sensed a demon. "..it's over here." She quickly looked over at a big shed and ran quickly towards it as daiki followed behind her. She kicked the door of it open,and there stood a tall demon,with bright blue hair with white streaks and bright white eyes with the number 'lower moon 6' ingraved in it. "The hell do you want,kid?" The demon muttered coldly. "Shut the hell up.." suki said back coldly and swung her sword at it. The demon backed up and dodged it.

"You think it's gonna be that easy? Hah! You're very wrong.." The demon swung its large spear at her,and demon quickly dodged it. Daiki jumped in and started throwing attacks. "Damn imbeciles!"The demon hollered. It sticked its spear into the ground and said some sort of chant. The spear turned a glowing white color. "Hah,now if you get stabbed with this,a strong poison will take over your body and make you weak! If it's even possible to even make you weaker..." The demon started swining its spear at them. Suki and daiki dodged it as he did so,Suki tried slicing its neck, but it dodged it, and she cut its arm off instead, He regenerated quickly.
"Idiot!" The demon exclaimed and kept throwing attacks,and they both dodged it easily. "You know what,fine! I'll just have to give it my all!.." he sticked his spear into the ground and said another chant. His spear turned into a red staff member. He started throwing more attacks and quicker. "Shit.." suki muttered while dodging them barley and throwing attacks back. Daiki tried coming from behind to slice its neck,but the demon stabbed him in hip. He winced and tried to concentrate his focus on the fight and not on the wound. "DAIKI!" Suki yelled. "Forget about me,worry about the battle!" Daiki replied back,throwing attacks at the demon. The demon stabbed him again in the hip,and suki ran from behind it and tackled it to the ground. "GO.TO. HELL!" She sliced its head off as she yelled. Daiki stood there staring at the floor and soon fell down onto his knees. "DAIKI!" She ran over to him. "Are you okay?!" She said with worry and panic in her eyes. "..this poison..its..it's making my body go numb.." daiki muttered. Suki stared at his wound as it continued to bleed. She quickly took off her haori and wrapped it around him,then took a spare bandage out her pocket and tightly wrapped his wound with it. "It's okay,just try to slow the poison down!.." Suki hugged him tightly,with her eyes slightly teary. "I..I can stop the bleeding!..just,dont die on me!.." she placed her hand on his hip,and her hand turned a glowing,bright,heavenly white color. "H-huh?.." he mumbled. The  glowing color disappeared inside his wound,and it stopped bleeding. "How did you..." he mumbled while staring at her. "Forget that! Just try and stop the poison from taking over your body!" She said,still teary-eyed.
Daiki stared at her,seeing her eyes water, He smiled softly and spoke. "..you must care about me,suki..but okay,I'll try to stop the posion." Suki hugged him again. Daiki uses his breathing technique to slow the poison, and a few moments later, some workers from the butterfly mansion hurried inside to go help daiki. Suki was holding him tightly and refused to let go. So they had to take suki with them aswell.

"You're very stubborn...,suki. But thank you for helping me.." Daiki mumbled and smiled softly at her. His eyes looked soft and caring,which isn't usual for him.  Suki stared at him for a moment, then smiled the slightest smile back.
