Sitting behind Kurt and Mercedes, Vesper listened in on Kurt's new problem. Somehow he had managed to convince his father that he was on the football team. After he was caught dancing to single ladies with Britney and Tina in his basement.

Vesper almost laughed at his plan, when he said he was joining the football team, they would never let him.

Mr. Shoe went around passing papers for the Glee Club's next assignment, the peace was broken then when Rachel opened her ginormous beak and started screeching out loud.

" Excuse me!" she sounded like a mini Karen.

"This isn't the right key," Rachel said, looking down at her paper with a face.

" No, that's the right key." Shoe nodded, after making a quick check on his paper.

"This is the alto part " Rachel was in disbelief.

" Yep. Tina's doing the solo" With those words, Rachel was left gasping dramatically as she took a step back for added effect. Vesper raised a brow, he's giving a solo to a girl who could barely speak a sentence without stuttering?

" I-I'm sorry" Rachel pathetic stuttered.

"There must be some sort of mix-up. I thought I made it very clear that anything from West Side Story goes to me. Maria is my part. Natalie Wood was a Jew, you know. I've had a very deep, personal connection to this role since the age of one" Rachel said, making up half the shit she was spewing up. The Glee Club rolled their eyes in sync, all forced to accept this was the new in Glee.

"Well, I'm trying to shake things up a bit, get us out of our boxes" Shoe explained his reasoning, not very bothered by Rachel's words. He must deal with crazy on a daily.

" You're trying to punish me" Rachel raised her voice, making it all about herself once again.

" I think you're being a little irrational" Shoe shrugged at the persistent diva.

" I think you're being unfair"

" I think you're being unfair to Tina, who might have been happy about getting her first solo" Mr. Shoe explained, now getting a little annoyed as the rest watched as they argued with bored eyes.

" I think Tina knows how much I respect her, and I think she would agree with me that she's not ready for such an iconic role as Maria" Rachel angrily rants, leaving some to watch her in disbelief and others just wanting to throw her out the highest window in Lima.

" Wait. I'm a jet" Mercedes popped out as she looked down at her paper. Rachel huffed and puffed as she dropped her papers to the ground and made her dramatic exit, leaving the door to slam harshly behind her.

" I hate it here" Vesper muttered to herself, avoiding looking to the left. Where it seemed like Quinn purposely snuggled deeper into Finn just to fuck with her.

" The more times she storms out of rehearsal, the less impact it has," Artie said, making Vesper nod in agreement.

" Congratulations, Tina" Shoe told the goth who smiled lightly to herself. " This is going well"

" It's not" Vesper muttered as the bell rang and Kurt jumped up to Finn, probably to ask him about football.

Smoking a cigarette peacefully from the top of the bleachers Vesper watched Finn and Kurt talk down at the field. She had come to watch the team practice after school, seeing the idiots tumble and roll around was enough to entertain her while she smoked.

Vesper was a little impressed that Kurt was able to convince Finn to let him try out. Vesper just hoped the poor boy didn't snap his neck or end up being carried out of the field on a stretcher just because he thought he could play football. Vesper was beginning to like his glittery presence.
