Unknown POV

Not knowing who to trust can kill you, it really can. Especially when you're questioning whether or not you can trust those who you once had the most faith in.

Looking back at her, I allowed my eyes to run over her beautiful curls and dishevelled appearance, she looked beautiful unconscious, as well as conscious. Her lips had duct tape over them, sealing them closed. I may love her, or the idea of being with her, but I wasn't going to let her ruin this, ruin herself.

Tightening my grip on the wheel, I sighed as I turned back to gaze out of the tinted window, which prevented CCTV cameras from seeing me.

"She's going to hate you." I whispered, taking a sharp turn left into a dark, abandoned street. She may hate me, but she'll never not love me back. You see, there are those people who can love and know it, whilst there are others who believe they cannot love, but subconsciously do. All I need to do is persuade her that we're in love.

But before that, I need to take care of her, keep her safe from the danger of the world, keep her away from... him.

Right now, the less she knows, the better.
