Night time
Third person's POV:
It was cold clear night, one that almost would have been peacefully spent in your bed, covered in the warmth of a blanket. Instead you found yourself meandering the corridors, your feet seemingly leading you to nowhere in particular.Maybe it was pure coincidence that you traveled up the Astronomy tower, maybe it was fate.
A man rested his hand on the railings pondering, staring into the night. He
didn't seem to have noticed you yet, too entrance by the void of night. He continued stargazing, silent as ever, not taking his dark eyes off the sky-no sight of any sadness.
He seemed almost fascinated, as if he was taking in the sight.
But to you, it was as he was taking every single speck of light in the sky.
He was absorbing it in
This was more than fascination-this was infatuation, as if the sky was his life, and he couldn't imagine living without looking up the every star, planet or nebula.
There was a look of wonder on his face.
You look up at the sky as you were about to walk back in the hallway, the man heard your foot steps, and turns his head.
A slight curve on his thin lips almost suggested he was smiling, but it went away just as fast as he looked at you.
You couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking about.
Why he came up here, or why he didn't even a move to speak to anyone.
Perhaps he likes being alone.
Perhaps you will be his only source of entertainment for tonight.
Who knows.....
"Why are you here?"
He spoke sternly, his dark brown eyes still fixed in the sky.
"I'm just wandering the castle"
You said as you're voice was soft and calm.
The man look down towards you with curious eye.
They are almost as dark as his hair, and they seemed to absorb all the light that was cast in their direction.
His lips curves slightly again into something that almost feels like a half-smile, but it fades away just fast as it came.
He seems to be contemplating something, thinking before he speaks again.
"Do you come to the tower often?"
"Yes,i do"
"Why?"
He question as i could tell in the shadow that his eyebrows rise up
"To watch the moon and the stars in the sky"
"How often"
It feels as if the guy is interrogating you now, like his voice was somehow more sharp than the moments ago.
Maybe his curiosity was getting the better of him.
He seems like the kind of person to want to know everything.....
Or maybe,a better word would be he seems like a person who needs to know everything.
His sharp, dark eye continues to bore into your soul, searching for any lies you might have hidden behind that soft voice and polite demeanor.
"Very often when i go sneak out into my dorm in curfew but sometimes I rather watch the sky in my room, yeah i have to go now Adios"
You clapped my hand together as you walk back down stairs in the astronomy tower and goes back to your dorm.
He make no attempt to reply, only taking another look up in the sky with his cold dark eye.
A half-smile creeps back into his thin lips,as if he enjoys the brief conversation, but he stays silent, his body language not changing from the cold and harsh from he has presented from the beginning.
As you got back into the Gryffindor dorm you sneak quietly in your room as you sat in the study table and opens your diary and write about what happened earlier and the mysterious guy as the diary is now finished you write another poem in the whole night.
