Ellegaard was folding paper into roses.

She had seen a really pretty rose on her way to the room, and she decided to ask for paper to recreate it.

She didn't remember who gave the paper to her. Only that they had been the one too take her to the room and that they had looked at her as though she had ripped out their heart and crushed it in her fist.

Which was odd because as far as she knew hearts weren't able to come out of the body, and it would be plain weird to crush one, it would probably be best to dissect them, considering they were part of the body and you dissect everything in the body.

"Hey..." a voice spoke, snapping her out of her thoughts, the voice sounded desperate. "What are you making?" They asked curiously.

"Paper roses." She looked around. "What if dust were stars? Have you ever thought about that?" She asked after spotting a speck of dust on the ground.

"No, I never thought about that," the weird person responded, sounding broken, destroyed, like they had been ripped in two. The person stood up abruptly, making her jump, "I'm gonna go now," the person said weakly.

They looked as though they were about to cry. They took a deep breath, as though they were trying not to show their despair. She knew them too well to be fooled by that though, wait.

"I've never met you before," she said, not really meant for them, even though she'd said "you."

The person flinched so much you would have thought she slapped them. They left the room and a voice seemed to sneak in as they were leaving.

"Take care, Ellegaard..." the voice said.

"Who?" She said that word sounded familiar. But she couldn't really remember it anymore.

She shrugged, unbeknownst to her, her shadow, which had demonic horns on the top of its head and a slight red glow to it, didn't shrug, it just stood there barely moving when she did.

Oh, what she would give to get the clutter out of her head.

Her sacrifice had robbed her of everything.

What sacrifice? She could remember. Should she? If she should she would. That person who looked like their heart was broken couldn't have been too important to her. Could they?

She paused, looking at her flowers. What had she been doing before that person interrupted? She looked around the room then she spotted a speck of dust on the floor.
