Gael's POV

"Good Work, Gael. That's your fastest time yet, so I want you to challenge yourself and beat it once more. Take a break." Coach Darwin patted my back as he walked away from the pool. I climbed the pool's steel ladder, grabbed the towel in the nearby wooden woven chair and dried my hair.

I spotted Mac walking towards me.

"You really are good in doing those strokes, man." Mac complimented.

"I wouldn't have been nicknamed Poseidon if I wasn't the best." I boasted.

Mac laughed at my back for being arrogant. I grabbed my gym bag and searched for something, and when I reached my phone, I immediately sent her a message.

Gael: We can play any game you want except hide and seek.

Aali: Y?

Gael: Because a girl like you is hard to find.

I smiled at the thought. I glanced at the time on my phone's clock. 12:34 PM. It's her break time. How I missed her! I missed how she glare at me, how she can come up with all the teasing. What's wrong with me?! Thank heavens, it's our last day here.

My phone vibrated. She sent a message.

Aali: Aren't you tired?

Gael: Why?

Aali: I thought u're tired because u're running in my mind 24/7.

I chuckled at her message making Mac looked at me. I didn't mind him as I sent my message to Aiah.

Gael: You miss me. LOL. Coach is here. I'll text u later. Missing u too.

Why did I send it? Stupid me. I lost my cool again. My eyes searched for Mac and I gasped when I turned around and found him smiling at me.

"Missing you too? What the fuck, Gael? Are you like a middle school or what?" Mac's laughs echoed in the pool area.

"Shut up, man." I glare at him.
