I sighed thinking here we go again. She's been bugging me nonstop asking me to live with her. It's Friday and this is her third time this week coming to this house para guluhin ako. At first, I was able to avoid her saying a lot of excuses. But maybe the 'third time's the charm' saying worked for her, because this time I grew tired of avoiding her.

"Mom, why are you here again? tigilan mo na ang kakapilit sakin dahil ayokong tumira sa ibang bansa kasama ka at ang bago mong pamilya!" hindi ko alam bakit naisipan ng mom ko na umuwi ng Pilipinas para lang pilitin akong sumama sakanya sa London.

"Sigrid, why are you so stubborn? Masaya kaba na tumira sa bahay nato? Are you not reminded of all the bad memories that we had while we are living here? I am so worried of you." My mom is about to cry from the frustration that she is feeling because of my unending rejection with her offer. Well, I guess the feeling is mutual.

"Mag-almusal muna kayong dalawa. Napakaaga pa para mag-away." Singit ni manang Linda dahil alam niyang hindi magiging maayos ang pag uusap namin ni mom.

I ignored her and tinignan lang ng diretso si Mom sa mata.

"Why now, Mom? I've been living without you for the past 3 years. You left me remember? Bakit ngayon bigla kanalang babalik na parang may pake ka! Hindi ako bagay na anytime pwede mong iwan at balikan! How dare you come back here na parang hindi moko iniwan para lang makasama mo ang lalake mo!" I shouted in anger because this is fucking annoying.

*Slap* Mom and Manang Linda gasped. "I'm sorry, anak. Hindi ko sinasadya."

"Well, Ano pabang bago?" dali dali akong umalis ng bahay at sumakay ng kotse papuntang school dahil baka magkasakitan pa kaming dalawa. At lalo pang lumala ang sitwasyon. Tumulo ang luha ko. Damn it, I'm so tired of crying.

"Ayos lang ba kayo ma'am?" Kuya Toni asked. He is my driver. He and my manang Linda are the ones who took care of me when both my mom and dad left. Nasa Spain ang dad ko managing the hotel he owned because he is planning on expanding it in different countries. While my mom, followed the love of her life in London. At first, dad was forcing me to leave the country with him. But I refused, after all, being alone is better.

"Ayos lang ako kuya. Tara napo baka malate pako sa school." Kuya Toni started driving and I wiped my tears and got drowned in my pool thoughts.

My mom was forced to marry my dad because she got accidentally pregnant. They are both friends during their college days. Mom was inlove with a different guy back then, Tito Sandro. His current husband. Pero si dad, ever since she laid his eyes on mom, she only loved her. They were both drunk when it happened. I knew their story because dad told me. Simula bata ako palagi na silang nagaaway. I never grew on a lovely typical household kung saan ipagluluto ka ng mama mo ng breakfast, ihahatid ka ng dad mo sa school or whatever they define a normal and loving household was. My manang Linda was the one who took care of me because my mom was always away and traveling, while dad is always busy at work.
