Vlad

All the guardians were gathered in Andora for an important reason. Things had gotten worse, and some were already out of hand. Classes were temporarily suspended due to the ongoing crisis the Academy was facing. Olympus was on the move, too, and I heard Culies had left his throne and gone to the underworld for... business.

Tsk, that old hag.

I sat bored beside Harry, waiting for the meeting to start. The eerie silence enveloped the room; everyone seemed lost in their own thoughts.

Nagtiim-bagang ako. I couldn't say this was the worst crisis I’d experienced, but it was definitely one to consider. In my thousand years of living, this particular situation was spectacular—and perhaps even intriguing.

When most of the important figures in Andora had arrived, Safarah finally began the meeting. She was handling everything, and people all over Encantaria were under her command. Her authority even reached Penumbra, though I doubted the other party acknowledged her significance at all.

“Another news report came out early this morning. Sirens were deeply disturbed last night after one of their own was attacked by an unknown individual and is now missing. Ada, their leader, has expressed her worries, considering this attack a massive threat to their kind,” she began.

Heavy sighs filled the room. Tension grew as frustrations were verbally expressed by some officials.

“Huwag niyo itong ipaalam kay Artemis,” she added with a hint of warning.

Sumama agad ang timpla ko doon, at agarang nag-apoy ang buhok ko. If this news reached that brat’s ears, I’d be more than willing to behead the one who dared to open their mouth.

A soft chuckle reached my ears as the scumbag Apollo shook his head across the room where he was sitting. Hindi ko siya pinansin at ninamnam ang inis sa sistema ko.

For sure, his sister was disappointed with her useless companion right now. Tsk. Dumb choice, Artemis.

Matagal-tagal rin bago natapos ang pagpupulong, kaya halos uminit ang puwet ko kakaupo sa upuan dahil sa hinaba ng pinag-usapan.

The other guardians were assigned outside the Academy’s premises to ensure the townspeople’s safety. Some were tasked to guard the palace against potential intruders. Three were separated and assigned to a mission alongside the alumni, while the elites were given a week-long training session to hone their skills.

“You stay, Vladimir.”

I let out a bored sigh and sat heavily in the chair near her desk.

“Ikaw rin, Apollo! Maupo ka diyan!” she snapped, glaring at her son while tossing some parchments on the floor.

Apollo had no choice but to obey. I craned my neck, noticing that her other daughters were absent. I’d heard Seirra went with her father, but where was Soliel?

“Anong sabi ni Esmeralda, Apollo?”

Apollo gave me a side-eye. I only raised a brow and smirked smugly.

“Walang bagong lead, Mama,” sagot ni Apollo.

His mother sighed and sat down in the chair in front of us.

“If that’s the case, maybe you should start searching the whole Encantaria alone. She’s not easy to find, alam mo ‘yan. Ilang taon na siyang pinapahanap, pero masyadong mailap ang healer na ‘yun.”

The brute’s eyes widened. He stood and gave his mother an incredulous look.

“Alone? What? What if she realizes we’re after her and runs away to some remote mountain?”
