The woods are a scary place, especially in the night. But maybe if you explore it with an open heart, it won't be so bad.

"So, last day of summer tomorrow." My best friend Alex says to me.
"Ya, wish we could just hide away forever in these woods." I say.
"But bad things happen in the woods."
"Better things than going back to school." He laughs at me, so I start laughing too.
"Well, I got to go home," Alex stands up. "See you tomorrow?"
"Of course, same place and time."
"Perfect." He reached out his hand to help me stand up. I try to take it , but right when I touch his hand he lets go and lets me fall.
"Why do I always do that?" I say laughing and brushing off the dirt.
"Because you are just silly."
