Elizabeth Lasso never thought of herself as extraordinary. She was an average girl from Kansas City, with average interests and an average life. Of course, nobody else ever thought she was as bland as she'd claim, but she wasn't inclined to believe them. Elizabeth was born into an incredibly extraordinary family, with an older brother who was far too kind for anyone's good, a mother who simply couldn't stop uplifting the people around her, and a father who... well, she never met her father. Though she'd heard he was incredibly loving.

From a young age, Elizabeth looked up to her brother, Ted. She'd follow him around wherever he went, and even as a teenager, he'd never get annoyed with her constant curiosity and interest in the world around her. The two were an inseparable pair from the moment Elizabeth could walk without flopping around like a lost penguin. When Ted started college, Lizzie cheered him on from the preschool playground. When Ted got married to Michelle, Lizzie was dressed in her very best dress tossing flowers down the aisle. When Lizzie started high school, Ted was there for every step of the way, helping her through the struggles of adolescence. Even throughout their adult lives, they were never too far apart. When Elizabeth struggled with the idea of not going to college and disappointing their mom, Ted reassured her that there was nothing she could do that would rid her of her family's undying support for her. So, Lizzie didn't go to college. Instead, she grew a love for photography and began taking photos for whichever sports team Ted would coach.

And so, with a few years of professional photography and coaching under their belts, Ted and Elizabeth were setting off on their newest adventure.

Goodbye Kansas, hello Richmond.
