So walking into a school class room seems like something most people would consider easy right? Well for me it really isnt that easy. The class room doesnt bother me but the people inside did. Being the new kid in a school in a small town where everyone knew everyone...well that was what bothered me. So as I stood outside my homeroom for my last semester of high school I thought that it was so stupid that my parents had forced me to move to this secluded town was eating away at my very soul. I hated it. I breathed as I stood there, and when I finally started to get up the nerve to pull the door open I heard a voice come from behind me.
"Your late." Said a deep male voice. I turned. And saw who I assumed was my new home room teacher. "You must be the new student Jade. Its okay. I'd be pretty scared too walking into a new class room for the first time. Dont worry. It'll be fine." He said as he shifted the books in his arms. He was tall, had black hair and beautiful jade green eyes. He was the ideal guy for me. If he hadnt been my home room teacher. God life wasnt fare sometimes.
"Yeah. I'm Jade Sanders. Do you need some help with that?" I asked looking at the books in his arms. He smiled and it was one of the sweetest things I had ever seen. I took a few of the books that were piled in his arms. He nodded.
"Thank you very much Miss. Sanders. Now. Lets get into class." he said as he pushed the door open with his foot. He walked in first and as I stepped into the class room I felt the respect for the teacher in front of me. As I sat the books on his desk he did the same and looked at the class. "Class, this is Jade Sanders. I want you to help her as much as you can in the next few weeks. Now," he turned to me. "I'm Damon Tesler." The students all laughed and one girl sitting in the front row stood up.
"Just call him Damon. He hates Mr. Tesler. Apparently makes him feel old." She laughed along with the rest of the class. She had flaming red hair and bright blue eyes that were so bold you couldn't help but stare at them. "Hi, I'm Cass. Here, sit next to me." She said pointing to a seat next to her. I did as she suggested and pulled out the chair next to her and sat down smiling at her. She was out-going. I could already tell that. And I could already tell I was going to be very good friends with her. She was like my best friend back in New York. Tessa was out-going and bubbly and always helpful and protective. I wondered if this girl-if Cass-was the same as Tess. And I found it kind of ominuse that they had the same type of names. During class I couldn't help but glance around the class at the people staring at me. They were all looking at the new girl from New York who helped the teacher. But it really didnt bother me. Not as much as I thought it would anyway. I think it was because of Damon. He made it so none of the kids had a chance to make fun of me. I dont think they would have even if they had the chance. This school seemed like a decent place so I felt at ease here.
Well thats what I believe. But I've been wrong before.
