Vera tilted her head at her before the now tinted large glass in front of her and a light laughter escape her mouth
"sorry I kinda lied, you haven't change at all" Vera uttered eventually admitting it.
Kane who wasn't paying attention to her suddenly freezes for a second and looked at her sarcastically shaking her head and said full of contempt in her eyes "you haven't changed either"
"Kane, you grew up well, you've used to dream of becoming a doctors" Vera muttered chuckling as she reminisce the young Kane following her
Kane didn't budge in her position and took the syringe and the small bottle containing a yellowish liquid from the nurse who just arrived
"you're still cocky and arrogant after being retired, you become rusty too" Kane replied waving the syringe in Vera's face

"wasting so much resources just to capture you this easily" she said smirking wriggling her eyebrows playfully then inject the syringe in Vera's IV drip "don't worry it was just something to keep you breathing" she bend her upper body to touch Vera's cheeks who just stayed still and just watched
"Commander... It was so nice to see you in my laboratory, you didn't even know how much I have waited for this, Fun fact... it was me who insisted to bring you alive"
Vera who was just following the young woman with her eyes, suddenly felt goosebumps as Kane laughed while twirling Vera's hair using her fingers while on the other side holding the long metal scissors
"let me have this one as my souvenir for now"
Vera wasn't sure how she would react after what she heard so she just chuckles and nonchalantly said
"that wouldn't be enough, you can have my blood too"
"don't worry we already did. I'll let you knkw the result afterall we have the time"
Vera somehow expected the answer but deep inside her, she's scared and afraid of what might resulted with it

"woah! don't ask me that you know it's thanks to you, I've fulfilled a dream" Kane smiled and starts combing Vera's hair like a caring friend

"speaking of which, your a team, I wonder if they are alive, probably not, I was there If you'd asked" Kane said laughing like she just making a joke while Vera's face sanked for a second then looked at her blankly
