chapter 1 : lights out

It was a stormy day at the cabin in the middle of the night. All the kids were in the living room enjoying there time. Except..mike.

Mike was sitting on the couch. Waiting for his friends but..still no sign of them.

It was a 2 days after escaping smile. Mike knew smile wasn't going to let him escape if they ever met again. But chi..he hasn't seen her in a bit..she was with Emily when they split up..he hoped Emily was ok.

In the room where he's at. Most of the kids were young. And some were older. Mike stayed quiet..if he told anyone about the harpy collie or a chinchilla..they would think he's crazy..probably not the young kids but the oldest...he kept it a secret

One thing was good..Mike had Florence with him..he trusted her and she trusted him. He started to take her more after finding out smile is possessed by that..kitsune from a drawing he saw..he kept it though. Mike only seen him once in his dreams. Mike hold Florence tight making sure he was still holding her.

While not looking. Smile was in the darkness in one of the rooms. He wished he can just grab him..but blowing his cover would get him in trouble. So he stays quiet. And hids in the darkness. He walks away but not in disappointment..he had an idea.

Mike was watching the other kids play. Mike just stayed on the couch but until..a young girl came up to him "she had brown hair with a bow and she..she seemed to be 6 years old" she wanted to play with him but not in the living room. Somewhere else. She pointed at the hallway.

Can we play hide in seek? It will be fun! *she smiles* we can play in the hallway. Just me and you.

Mike:..oh.. well ok..I'll do that for you

The little girl runs happily in the hallway. Jumping up and down. She couldn't wait to play with him.

"Mike follows her in a guest room"

Ok you close your eyes and count to 10 and I'll go hide (she giggles)

Mike: ok "he goes to a corner and covers his eyes then begins to count"

He hears the little girl run like she's already ready to hide.

Mike later got to 10 and was ready to find her. But suddenly the power goes out. Leaving Mike in complete darkness. He luckily had his flashlight. So he can see where he was going. He needed to find the little girl..she might be scared and there's demons around. Not a good thing to be alone. He left Florence in the living room..

Mike: i hope she finds me before chi or smile do.."he uses his flashlight going around the area and walking to the hallway. He saw someone run in front of him.it was big.. and was full white ..he hoped it wasn't who he think it was."

Mike heard something quickly flashing his flashlight.. nothing but mike didn't want to know and ran the heck out of there...he still needed to find the little girl it's to dangerous to be in the dark. Mike then heard little giggling from the other room. It has to be

Mike heads in the room and finds her..she seemed to be not afraid of the dark. She looks up and smiles at mike.." thunder strikes suddenly Mike didn't realize that her silhouette was a giant fox for a second"

You found me "she smiled"

Mike: yeah I did *smiles*

It's my turn! To find you now..you go hide and I'll find you.

Mike: I'm not sure..the power is out..you sure you want to continue?

The little girl smiled: yes

Mike:...ok?..I will go then..be safe
*Mike leaves the room..he started to get a strange feeling about on how she's acting. Most six years olds are afraid of the dark but..her*

suddenly mike heard screaming from a room. He ran towards it knowing someone was in trouble. He finds the room and opens the door quickly. Not thinking he goes in, he walks in the room looking for the person..hoping they weren't chi or smile. As he walks

suddenly hears a crunching like noise Infront of him. Mike started to put his flashlight up a bit. Suddenly his face went pale looking at something

It was chi but she wasn't going after mike because.. she already was eating a child... The child seemed to be already dead but half of there body was in her mouth. Chi began swallowing the kid each time she did the kid goes further. Only the legs we out but chi kept eating them mostly tilting her head to help her swallow them more.

Mike sat there horrified..is this how she does this to her victims..he didn't want that happening to him so he immediately walked the heck out of there. Mike walked further and further away from the room chi was at. He came in another room. And took a seat..beginnings to cry a little from the experience he saw..poor kid... Suddenly mike heard something. He realized that he wasn't alone. There were eyes near the ceiling. Mike grabbed his flashlight and flashed the eyes..

"It was chi!..she followed him! And knew he was watching her eat.."

Mike thought the kid she ate was enough but it seems like they weren't. Mike quickly got up. Still holding the flashlight. Mike saw the door without thinking he quickly ran towards the door.

Chi saw this and jumped Infront of him. She smacked him with her tail. Pushing him away from escaping her.
Mike slides right to the ground. Not knocked out. But was going to be her next meal. Mike tried to leave. But chi instantly pins him down.

Chi: no you don't!..

Chi:..you're time is up...Mike "she bends down slowly opens her mouth and goes towards mikes head"

Mike tried to get her off his back but knew he wasn't going to be able to..he was finished!

Mike had no choice to close his eyes and let it happen.
