Chapter 1 ( the abues)

*both lucy and tim have a crush on each other *

After going to vegas for an undercover mission chris started being abusive towards Lucy. And since Lucy and Tim ride together, Lucy vented to Tim for a lot of her problems, but she never told him about the abuse. Until one day, he found out by himself.

      Lucy and tim went undercover to a restaurant because they heard that there were drugs. Lucy had been wearing concealer to cover up her bruises, but after a long shift, the make up was wearing off and Tim noticed.

     Tim: hey, what is that? Is that a bruise? Why do you have a bruise on you? Are you OK?

Lucy : huh, oh yeah I'm fine I don't know from where I got that.

Tim : that looks days old we went to Vegas three days ago which means you had it on before we went to Vegas.

Lucy : oh yeah, I don't know where I got that. *She nervously said.*

Tim : the days before we went to Vegas we were on patrol and nothing happened. Did Chris do this to you? * Tim Concerned said.*

Lucy : what no.

      Before Tim could say, another word fight broke out. Shots were fired across the street from them so they had to run to the scene and successfully arrested the shooter. But even though Tim didn't bring up the conversation they just had at the restaurant he was still worried. Lucy told Tim the Chris had angry issues but Tim didn't think it was that bad.

      Tim was worried so he called tamara to see if she knew anything, but all she said was that they heard them fighting a few days ago, but that was it, and she didn't hear anything else, but then a week later on patrol Tim noticed another bruise. Lucy had forgotten to cover it , Tim asked again, what happened she again said that she didn't know.

      That same week tim found out all by himself. He went to Lucy's apartment he was going to take Tamara to the mall with her friends. When he knocked Chris opened, he seemed pissed off.
Tim : hey Chris, I'm here to pick up tamara.
Chris : OK yeah come in

Tim : is Lucy here?

Chris : oh, yeah, she is but she's sleeping right now.

Tim : OK, yeah cool

      Just then Lucy came out, thinking that tim left. She came out bruised from her face to her arms. Tamara was still in her room. Finishing getting ready when he saw her. He got worried. He asked if she was OK, but she just ran back into the room crying.

Tim : did you do this to her?" he asked Chris
Chris : what no I would never
Tim got up and went to the door. Chris try to stop him but Tim didn't let him Tim knocked the door open. Lucy was in a corner, crying when Tim went to Make sure she was safe. Chris walked in.
Chris : oh my gosh, Lucy, are you OK?
Tim : what the heck do you mean? you were here with her you obviously did this to her." he said, furiously while hugging Lucy"
Chris: I would never do anything like that to her and if I did, wouldn't you think you have noticed I mean you go on patrol with her right?
Tim: just shut up Chris you're under arrest for abuse.
      After Tim put Chris in handcuffs, he called for back up. Nolan, Nyla, and Angela showed up . Nolan took Chris while tim was with Lucy. Tamara came out of her room but Nyla took her.
Tim: are you OK? How long has he been abusing you?" worriedly, he said
Lucy: about a month before we went to Vegas" still shaken up she said." I told him something and he got more mad that usually"
      She was used to the abuse, but today it was nothing like before she got so anxious that she passed out in Tim's arms.
Tim took her to the ER and she was put on bed rest.
