As morning light arrived with a new day,

Ena's grim mood nearly decided to stay

But her emotions seemed close to gray

though they weren't infinite

She still had hope

Giving in, giving up -- nope

That would never happen,

on Ena's watch

Mizuki was the same way -- She knew

because their emotions did not define then

Nor did their struggles

Same with Ena ; the struggle with art,

but she always did her part

Drawing, analyzing, Ena may have had a rocky start

but she had come a long way

Ever since that one day in middle school

Did her father with words so cruel

Speak his mind about "no talent"

What a strained relationship!

There was no measuring Ena's pain that day

She wanted to be an artist, but her father's words

chained her down

Not for long,

for her friends made her strong

Ena regained her strength

It seemed she wanted to keep holding her art

at an arm's length

She didn't want to give up

and she didn't give up

Thanks to her friends

and herself

As Ena looked at her cellphone,

a new message was shown

from Mizuki

It was a shimmery scrapbook,

which was a fitting look

Mizuki had outdone themselves with their masterpiece,

and it looked as though their talent will never cease

And Ena was the same way

No matter what, she would continue drawing

Her father's words did really sting,

but she herself decided to bring

a whole new meaning into her art

As Ena glanced at the scrapbook,

tears sprang to her eyes

She already knew it was filled with precious memories

How was Mizuki so wise

to remind her of all the good times?

Not that Ena forgot about them

She would never; they were one of the many things

that kept her going

Every single day

She worked on a new painting, a new theme.

a 'love story' theme; it was harder than it seemed

Ena wished she could express herself more,

deeply than ever before

She felt free simply expressing herself

like a free man

Goodbye, negative feelings

Hello, mental and emotional strength

How are you?

Thanks to you, no more delusions,

so life no longer seems like an illusion

Because it isn't

Ena needed to keep her "It's Me" mentality

because she needed to be more confident

Being an artist -- what that meant to her

was almost venomous

She might not be an artist to her father

or anyone else

But to Mizuki, her friends, and herself

she was a wonderful friend,

she was strong-willed,

and

she was a very talented artist.
