About a few hours later,

after early dusk

Mizuki knocked at Ena's door

They heard their heart racing

with positivity

It was finally here:

The day that they would see Ena

Again

For some reason,

it felt like a fairy tale

But it wasn't

It was still reality

and that felt good

To Mizuki's surprise,

Ena was already up

She had opened the front door,

still somewhat sleepy

Mizuki had an urge to playfully tease,

but they knew that now was not the time

They greeted Ena with a smile, and she smiled back,

Her sleepy energy melting away

as she greeted them

It wasn't early in the morning,

nor was it late

The time of day was just right,

and it could not be described

As Ena led Mizuki to her art room,

they couldn't help but notice

the paintings and drawings

scattered nearly all over

It seemed like the paintings

were sad themselves

It seemed like the drawings

were full of loneliness

Was Ena the same way?

She was doing better,

but it didn't mean the pain

had went away

For good

As Mizuki told Ena

how much they loved her artwork

A small buzzing

rang from their cellphone

It was their older sister

She had left a text for Mizuki

To let them know

that she'd call them sooner

or later that evening
