Ambushed

You quietly whimper as you drag yourself over to the medicine cupboard and grab two pain killers. You fill a glass of water and use it to take the two pills before going into your room and laying down.

The pain soon leaves and you sigh as you can finally relax. Your least favorite part of heats was the pain when you weren't having sex. 

You are about to pull the covers over you when your phone rings.

You take a deep breath before seeing if it's important. 

Oh god damn it...

It's Max. That most likely means it's urgent- he never calls you during your heat unless it's urgent.

You reluctantly accept the call and you hear his panicked voice on the other side, saying your name.

'Roxanne and Foxy have gone missing in one of the abandoned apartment buildings!!'

Your eyes widen.

They are your best. That's why you had them as your protection whenever you left as the leader.

You quickly get off your bed.

'Which one, Max?!'

'South west!'

'Make an announcement immediatly!'

'Yes sir!'

He hangs up and you place your phone down before quickly pulling out clothes then running out your door.

Yes your under heat, but you cant stay in your room while the twins are missing!!

You run up the stairs, to the main room and find multiple adults in your pack with panicked faces. About twelve of them. If they smell your scent, none of them mention it.

'Come on, we need to go investigate!'

They nod and you all howl before running into the hallway and up the stairs. You take a different hallway then you did two days ago when you came back from the police station

You soon are in front of a wall and nod to the person in the room nearby. She presses a button and a hidden door opens. You all run out into an alley before getting on all fours and running out of it then towards the apartment that is south west.

Once you all finally get there you all pant, having used a lot of energy to run so far.

You then look up at everyone.

'Ok everyone, split up into groups of at least three! We need to check all the levels and rooms as fast as possible. Roxy and Foxy going missing is not a good sign!'

They all nod as they split up into groups, three of them following you.

None of you notice the animals and eyes hiding almost everywhere, watching all of you.

The four of you go up until you are all at the top floor.

Your small group enters the first room and starts to look around, too focused to hear the thumps coming from down stairs.

You flinch when you hear a creak. Probably just nothing.

You then hear a gasp and a thump. Your ears shoot up and you look around. Someone's missing...

'...Thomas?'

You and the other two look around. He's gone?

...he's known for pranks, he's probably messing with you guys.

You gulp before continuing to look around.

You hear a hoot and look out the window to see a blue toned owl with only the pupils visible in their eyes with the way their head is turned.

You tilt your head and nervously wave at it.

You then hear a muffled shriek and another thump and you look behind to see both Daniel and Katrina are gone. You look back at the owl, just as it is turning its head to face fully forward, revealing red eyes.

Oh no. Oh no no no!! Not them, not them!!! You would've never had taken them down if you figured it out on your own!!

You wish you could deny who that is, but you cant.

You gasp and blink, then they're gone.

Your ears lower and you quickly run out of the room, following Daniel's and Katrina's scent.

You go down a few floors until you are on floor two. You run around corners until you find yourself at a dead end.

You are about to turn around when a clawed hand wraps around your neck and a voice that sends shivers down your spine is heard right next to your ear, hot breath going against the skin in your ears.

《Well don't you smell delicious darling~》

Blood rushes to your face at the voice.

Eclipse.

《So nice of you to drop by~ The first to arrive put up quite a fight, had to knock them out, but you? The leader? You seem to be quite easy~》

A finger on xer other hand trails up your spine and xey chuckle when you attempt to lean away, xer hand tightening around your neck just a bit and close to drawing blood.

《You know, you've been quite the thorn in our side my dear, and we were planning on using the sniper on you, you'd have been dead the second you entered the building since we now know what you look like...》

The hand around your neck goes up and grips onto your maw then pulls your head back, towards xem, and you see a wide and sharp grin and eyes that seem like they'll turn into hearts.

《But we saw how cute you look~》

You hear more steps belonging to two pairs of feet and another voice that sounds more gentle.

(So we decided instead of killing you, we'd keep you...)
