It wasn't even a full day after his little moment with an enemy of the Loufu, better known as Blade when he got back to his room and the moment came back to mind and Jing Yuan felt his face heat up as he recalled that he asked Blade to keep hugging him despite the fact that he is a wanted criminal on the Loufu. He thought about it for a while until he started to question himself and the way he felt toward Blade.
"Why do I feel like this and towards him of all people?"
Jing Yuan took the time to write about the things he has been feeling about Blade, and he decided that he would do this for about 3 weeks, and then he would attempt to come to a conclusion. Jing Yuan knew very little about what he was feeling, but he intended to find out.
Day 1:
Strange feeling when near him. Every time I'm near him, I can't help but stare into his bright yet dark red eyes. It's like when I saw him again after so years a part of me wanted me to run towards him and tell him how much I missed him, but another part of me was saying no.
"Even after writing it down, I get that exact same feeling after writing it down, but I can't ask anybody because he's the most dangerous criminal on the Xianzhou. I guess I'm on my own for this one."
After thinking about it for some time, he decided to give himself a break and head off to sleep. Not too long after he fell off to sleep, he woke to the sound of birds chirping outside his window. He didn't get much sleep last night it was showing.
He walked downstairs to wake up Yanqing. He knocked on Yanqing's door to be met with silence. He opened the door to see Yanqing sleeping comfortably. He decided not to wake him up and go in the kitchen and somehow manage to make breakfast for both him and Yanqing would enjoy. Not too long after looking around the kitchen, Jing Yuan saw some oatmeal.
"Oatmeal. It can't be difficult to cook oatmeal."
He read the instructions and thought that it would be quick and easy enough. Not even 5 minutes after he finished the oatmeal, Yanqing walked into the kitchen.
"General?"
"Yes, Yanqing."
"What were you doing?"
"Making some oatmeal."
Yanqing face lit up with joy as he heard oatmeal.
"What flavor?"
"I'm making the blueberry flavor for you at the moment."
"You should try some."
"I'm think I'm good." He showed clear dislike to oatmeal.
"More for me then."
As Yanqing was eating the oatmeal, Jing Yuan's mind ran back to the time he and Blade were training together.
"Um... General? Are you okay? You don't look too good?"
"Huh? Oh, I'll be fine, Yanqing. Just go play outside while I go figure something out."
"Yes, General."
While yanqing was outside, Jing Yuan went back to his room to see a certain someone that he wasn't expecting to see, Blade.
"Seems like someone is a little surprised to see me."
Jing Yuan knew now wasn't the time to entertain his thoughts since Xianzhou's most dangerous criminal just escaped.
"How did you escape, Blade?"
"You needn't worry about that, Yuan."
"Now is not the time, Blade."
"I can't say bye to my favorite general before I go?
Jing Yuan was confused, trying to make sense of the situation he was in. Once he snapped out of his thoughts, he was gone. Blade was no longer there it was like he was never there. He dismissed the thought and went outside to go check on Yanqing and saw him napping under a tree. Which brought him back to the times when he and Ren were still close. Even though the safety of the Xianzhou Luofu is his top priority, he will forever hope that he can restore the friendship he once had with Blade.
When he noticed the sun was starting to set, he picked up Yanqing and brought him back to his room. He laid him down on the bed and covered him with the blanket. Jing Yuan also took his hair down, so Yanqing wouldn't wake up with a huge headache in the morning. Jing Yuan walked back to his room, closing the door behind him.
"What really happened the day he ran away? Ren isn't the type of person you can easily persuade to switch sides."
