Bella:

4 years ago I lost it all. My family. My home. My life. The Harwood case was a big one that shocked England to its core on how a family so perfect and loving turned to nightmare.

Flashbacks
I returned home from work at my job at a local nursery I did love my job it was a dream come true. I loved children and always hoped to have some of my own one day. As I headed home I rang my dad to tell him I was on the way, he always told me to ring on the way home so he knew to expect me and so mam could put the tea on. I loved my family i was so lucky to have them in my life they were my rock and always supported me. Pulling my phone out my pocket I looked up to the sky a single rain drop fell onto my curled eyelashes I sighed as I knew the walk home would be cold. I put the phone to my ears after dialling dad number in hopes he would pick up and come get me in the car, it rang but no answer. I rang again I know sometimes he doesn't answer straight away, but nothing I thought he must have been busy. so I put my phone back in my pocket and wrapped my arms right around me to embrace the warmth in my body trying to keep my warm as I trudged through the rain as it got heavier. The walk was about 20 minutes I normally didn't mind it but today it was dark, wet and gloomy so today it did bother me. As I approached the house it looked dark not as it usually is my dad always jokes about the house being like Blackpool illuminations. I continued walking up the drive not thinking much of it but as I got my key to unlock the door I discovered it was already open. I cautiously peer my head inside and call out to my mam and dad. Nothing. Silence.
I walk on turning on the hallway light still nothing. I walked into the kitchen as I try to find the light my leg trips on something below me I scream pepper as I believed it was my little Frenchie who just hadn't moved out the way. But there was no bark as I tripped I turned the light on wishing I never did, it uncovered the worst sight I'd ever lay my eye upon one that would still come to me in my nightmares years on. My family, my beautiful family all lay spread across the kitchen in pools of their own blood. What happened was a mystery.

As I sat in Millie's bed hugging onto to the blanket try to feel something other than numbness. I was lost in my own world nowhere to go, no family to hold me and tell me it's okay. Millie had always been there for me we met just after she moved over here from France we lived next door to each other and quickly became good friends. In hopes to cheer me up she we went shopping she said we had to look good as tonight she was taking me out to get my mind off things. I did love to dress up it was fun it made me feel so pretty and I cared about my appearance it's shallow I know. Walking around the shops my eyes took close notice to the most beautiful dress I had seen. Long black satin dress with a slit up the left side of the leg, Diamond encrusted spaghetti strap and a flawless body tight figure. I tried it on in absolute awe for the dress, it was fucking gorgeous.
We got ready to head to the bar I placed my dress on and let my chocolate brown hair dangle down my back with its thick curls. Applying make up to make me look even better we headed to the club.
After about 6 pornstar Martinis and 3 shots of tequila rose I found myself on the dance floor. A body placed itself on mine as I moved my hips to the music I turned around to see a very handsome man holding me closer.
