He says, smiling while watching how her eyes sparkle in the setting sun. For a moment, they felt as if time had stopped as they sat in contentment. They wanted to stay like this forever, sitting side by side, watching the sun.
For hours and hours, they simply sat in silence on the park bench until night fell and stars adorned the night sky.
After what felt like forever, they decided to head home. They drove through mountains and blasted music without a care in the world. They loudly sang and laughed until their stomach hurt. They wanted nothing more than to stay in this moment forever. To bask in this feeling of comfort and peace.
At night, they cuddled each other. Talking and listening, laughing and comforting. Before dozing off into a sweet dream, they would exchange "good night" and "i love you."
In the mornings, he wakes up at sunrise and prepares a warm cup of coffee for the both of them. When she wakes up, they sit together in comfortable silence, sipping coffee and watching the sun rise.
It seemed as if the only thing they need was each other. They were in their own world.
