*prolog*
Today, i get to meet the Queen Alice! Honestly, i dont know if im in trouble or if she just wants to talk..... after all i did wreak her guards' training hour.... 'sigh' Guess im finding out soon.
"Luna, are you ready!" A loud yell comes from the front of the house. "Just one more second, ma!" I yell back from my spot at the back of the house where im feeding my friend Amber. Amber, named after her burnt red scales, has been my friend since the day i found her under the live oak in the center of town. She's small for her species, a blood dragon swift, but she's the best.
After a few more minutes, I've put up my feeding supplies and glove, cuz even though Amber and I are friends, she can forget her claws are quite sharp. Then i traverse around me and ma's house, heading towards the front.
"Ready ma," i call out, watching the petite lady in front of me turn suddenly, placing a soft smile on her face, trying to cover her worried face. "It's gunna be ok, ma, the queen let you off, last night without problems, I'll be ok." Though the words and my face both seem confident, I'm actually quite scared... if I've become a problem to the queen, me and ma could both lose our lives and not just ma's job..... well, here goes, i think yet again as we both climb into the small hay pulley that ma found not a week before to move more easily around the farm and town with.
