(ps: comment on any spelling errors you see, i did proof read but im 1. half sleep, and 2. most likely still would've made a mistake)

Crap..

Sneaking away from the girls sleeping seemed like a good way for me to get some peace to myself, and come up with a counter  spell to defeat the dazzlings- or so I thought.

To be honest, I didn't know what I was dealing with. Yes I've fought off many monsters and mythical creatures back in Equestria, but what do you do with 3 girls using their voices to manipulate into getting what they want? And they were from Equestria, I should know this! I groaned and spit the pen out of my mouth out of frustration.

I still hadn't really gotten accustomed to this... human culture. My walking was still a bit wobbly, plus I'd look like an idiot when I'd stare at something trying to pick it up with my "horn" and it didn't budge. Everyone considered me as one of them, but I didn't feel it. I still felt like an outcast, how did they expect me to save them??

My insecure thoughts were disrupted by the creak of the floor, my head shooting up to see who it was watching me. My eye widened at the sight of Sunset Shimmer standing in the hallway. She gave a slight smile, coming more into the light.

"Hey Twilight, working on that counter spell I see? " she glanced at the scribbles in my notebook, and walked in front of the fridge to open it. I sighed, flipping through the pages.

"We only get one shot at this... it has to work.."  she didn't know how stressed I actually was, that this possibly would not work and it being our only chance.

Opening the fridge and leaning down to examine it's contents. "Well, I'm sure someone like you can figure it out. We're really lucky to have you Twi"

I felt my face heat up at that, fiddling with the pen between my fingers. Ever since the battle a few months back, she'd really been trying to clean up her act. Others weren't buying it, but I knew she genuinely wanted to be better. Her complimenting me showed that. I opened my mouth to accept the compliment, till she interrupted me.

"Who possibly needs this much whip cream??" she reached in to pull out a bottle, a ton more still sitting in the fridge. She sighed and closed the door.

I giggled "That's Pinkie for you" causing us both to giggle a bit. She sighed after our short giggle fit, leaning against the fridge and putting a dollop of whip cream on her finger, licking it off.

"It must be nice to know everyone is looking to you to answer their problems, instead of waiting for you to cause one..." I could hear the sadness and regret in her voice, sympathizing and even relating with her.

"Just because everyone expects something from you, doesn't mean it's guaranteed to happen.." Yes it did seem like I was getting the longer end of the stick, but this was a lot of responsibility. Not like I hadn't had problems like this dropped on me before, but again this was a whole different universe, whole new crowd. Messing up won't blow over people's heads easily.

She looked up at the ceiling. "But that doesn't stop people from expecting it"

"Which only makes everything harder because the last thing you wanna do is-"

"Let everybody down" we said in unsion, catching us by surprise.

A comfortable silence filled the room, before we smiled, a soft pink dusting mine and her cheeks. We looked each other in the eyes for a second, her mouth opening to say something but it didn't. She quickly put the can of whipped cream back in the fridge, closing it. Clearing her throat, she spoke.
