Love or run?

An Unexpected Show

"We've been watching you, my children," Amile, Ariel and Levi's mother, calmly told them.

'Well, that's not creepy at all,' was one of the first things to pop into Jake's head.

The father, Harmon, must have heard Jake's thoughts, because he shot him a glare.

If looks could kill...

"Sorry..." Jake said aloud. Great, now he can't even think without someone hearing him.

Harmon nodded. He heard that too. Crud. Jake never thought he'd have this much trouble with a girlfriend's parents, especially her father.

"Yeah?! Well thanks for all your help!" Levi snapped, "I could've never been caught by the order if you guys would've just stepped in!"

"LEVI!" His father boomed, "Hear your mother out!"

Amile wiped a tear, then continued, "You don't understand. We COULDN'T interfere. You both are a part of a prophecy. All of this is supposed to happen. If you weren't taken by the order, we would never have a chance of taking them down."

"We all know that prophecy is a load of bulls-" One member yelled, but was cut off by Levi choking them.

"The Order is supposed to fall. Don't be cowards and meet your fate," Harmon took a stance in front of Ariel.

"Vampires are evil! We are supposed to purge this world of them!" One Order member yelled, "Ariel killed her guardians who she believed to be her parents, is that not evil to you?"

"It was bloodlust, she couldn't control herself!"Amile protested, "Not all are evil! You aren't exactly saints either though, so drop the act, you take perfectly nice vampires and use them for your own good."

"Where is your leader?" Harmon said, getting straight to business.

Ariel felt bad when her past was brought up. She felt even worse know that she knew the people that she killed who she thought were her parents were actually humans. Ariel wanted to cry but she had to stay strong to help fight the order.

'I can cry later...' She thought, then Harmon turned to give her a reassuring nod.

"We aren't stupid, we'd never bring him with us. Besides, you'll never find out-"

"He's at your headquarters precisely two miles to the north of here, in the bunker," Harmon cut him off quickly.

"You forgot that he could read minds? You IDIOT!" One yelled, but was silenced by Levi yet again.

"That's all I need to know. Amile, you know what to do."

And with that, he vanished. Amile the attacked the men from the order at an amazing vampire speed. She easily killed them. Jake stared in amazement at Amile's amazing power and speed. He didn't stare for long though. Jake noticed that one of the order members that Amile had killed was leaking blood. Ariel picked up on it almost immediately. Jake only hoped that she could resist it.

Ariel tried her best to resist the blood lust that was threatening to take over but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't so she did the only thing that she could think of. She ran away. Trying to get as far away from Jake, Amile and Levi as possible. She new that if she stayed she would hurt them. But she also knew that if she left, Jake, Amile, and Levi might get over taken. She only hoped that they didn't. She didn't want to hurt any more loved ones.

"I'm sorry."
