Cavalry Battle

Phew I finally made it into the top 10. I take a few minute break and return to the front of the stadium with the others

Midnight enters the stadium and introduces the next activity for the festival

" For the next activity we'll be having Cavalry battle !. for this game there would be total of 4 players with 3 being the horse and 1 rider. "

" The points you earned during the obstacle race will be increase by 5 , with the 42th place 5 points , 41th will be 10 , 40 will be 15 , and so on while the 1st place will have 10 million points " Midnight said as everybody look at the first placer

Some all look at Midoriya like a pack of predators ready to catch a single prey. After that many people began forming group of 2 , 3 , or even 4 especially with Bakugo and Todoroki. While I was looking for a group someone touch the back of my shoulder looking seeing Midoriya

" Tokoyami , please be our rider . we are missing one member " Midoriya plead but I just agree since I haven't gotten a team and I went with him to his team who was compose of a student from the support course and Uraraka 

I ready myself infront of Uraraka and the other girl who introduce herself as Hatsume we didn't have time to chat since it's almost time but Midoriya ask us if we're ready

" Uraraka" " here ! " she replied

" Hatsue " she just did a little laugh

" Tokoyami " 

" Yeah..." I just replied

" Alright the match will begin in.."

START !!!

As soon Midnight says start everyone starts rushing at us , we tried to escape but the ground turned soft like mush making our feet sink. We look around and Midoriya realize that it's one of the quirk of class 1B

" Hatsume , Uraraka look away " Midoriya activates his jetpack and we fly away from the other group

Jirou tried to grab our headband but using Dark shadow I deflect it . Uraraka shouted that we need to land as her quirk is draining her so we slowly descends and safely lands

but the battle isn't done Shoji charges at us and we tried to get away but couldn't . seeing the problem is one of Mineta's sticky ball got stuck under Uraraka's boots making her immobilize 

" From here Midoriya " We heard a creepy voice looking inside Shoji's arm are Mineta and Tsuyu hiding . Tsuyu use her tongue to try to grab the headband but just in time Midoriya duck down and Midoriya uses his jetpack again to get away from them , but as we were in the air Bakugo charges at us by flying with his explosions

Bakugo readied to shoot his explosion but I summon Dark shadow to block the attack and watch as Bakugo falls but was caught by Sero suing his tape

We landed safely away from the other contestants but as we are about to catch our breath we meet Todoroki face to face with Iida , Kaminari and Yaoyorozu. Todoroki's team begins using their quirk then Yaoyorozu prepares a blanket of some sort but the real danger is on Kaminari who electrifies everyone around them and Todoroki freezes them using his quirk

Todoroki uses this chance to remove the headband of other group and Midoriya tried to escape but the jetpack was jammed . Todoroki's group is charging at the 10 million points but I summon Dark shadow to get Todoroki's headband but was protected by Yaoyorozu who use her creation quirk and in a blink our headband was stolen

" What's this Todoroki stole the 10 million from Midoriya's group !!! "

But when Todoroki proudly look at the stolen headband he realize that the headband he stole was fake. He look at us and I smirk 

Flashback

" Midoriya give your headband to Nero and wear an empty headband to distract the other group from the real headband " I whisper quietly to Midoriya

" Are you sure we wont get disqualified by our action ? " Uraraka ask worriedly 

" Don't worry Nero will fly high from the stadium where no one can reach it and when its already time Nero will return to us with our 10 million "

everyone agreed with my plan and Midoriya tied to Nero the 10 million points and Nero flew to the skies as we prepare a separate empty headband 

Back to the Battle

" Tokoyami-san your plan really work , for now we just need to buy time until the timer rings "

" Yeah " I nod

" Look at that Todoroki's team stole an empty headband from Midoriya . Where is the real 10 million headband ?" Present Mic look but Aizawa who was covered in bandages responds

" If you remember Tokoyami enters the school everyday with a bird on his head he named Nero, since Nero is a bird and bird fly in the sky that's where you should be looking " Aizawa scolded Present mic

Present Mic and the other look at the sky and saw a bird with a white cloth attached to it's neck, they all realize that the bird has the 10 million points

" Is it really allowed for pets to be on the stadium ?"

" Since it has been with Tokoyami even at the beginning of the match . I'll say I allow it " Aizawa declared 

We turned pale as Aizawa revealed our secret plan to victory. Everyone started throwing random things trying to get Nero down but their efforts are all in vain as Nero keep dodging the attacks

" Times up !!" Present Mic announces , " Here are the scores of the top 4 teams "

" First place goes to ... Team Midoriya as they keep the 10 million points " Midoriya cries in joy as he wasn't expecting to be first 

" second place goes to team Todoroki got 615 points "

" Third place goes to ... wait really ?! Third place goes to team shinsou "

" And the fourth place goes to Team Bakugo "

" The 4 teams will be fighting in the next tournament congratulations "

We all leave the stadium to get ready for the next event and I saw Nero landed on my head as I exit from the group, she then drops on my hand the 10 million point 

" guess we'll have to be ready for the next event right Nero?"
