"Act up you can get snatched up" my best friend yelled quoting the City Girls. We were leaving the club because some girl felt Tia was pushing up on her man. In reality, it was the nigga all over Tia. Sis aint one to fuck with so the girl got dragged and regretted even stepping to Tia.
"Sis you aint have to do her like that." I laughed. "The fuck if I didnt. Her mans was all over me and she wanna act like she blind." Tia rolled her eyes. "Bitch lucky I let her walk out." I couldnt do anything but laugh.
The 15 minute drive to my house seemed much shorter than usual as i pulled into my driveway. Tia initially drove to the club but since her adrenaline was rushing, I decided to drive back to my place and let her calm down a little.
" Ight girl, I'll see you tomorrow!" I yelled back to Tia. I got out the driver seat and allowed her in as i made my way to my condo. After a couple days of not seeing each other, the night was much needed. It was about 2 am and I admit to having a few drinks in my system. I just wanted to kick off my heels, take a nice and long shower, and hop in bed with my man Darius.
I unlocked the door and flicked the lights on. The house was quiet as expected due to the time. I made my way to the kitchen to get some water.
Moments later I heard a thud come from upstairs.
"Darius ass so clumsy." I said assuming he knocked something off the bed. I decided to just bring my water upstairs with me as i turned lights back off. The closer to the stairs I got , I heard a woman's name being called, followed by a moan. My heart pounded. I almost laughed in disbelief of what i was hearing.
"Shit girl, just like that."
I couldn't believe this nigga had the audacity to fuck some hoe in my house. I quietly took off my heels and walked up the two step high rise of our condo. By the time I made it to the door, they both had snatched something to cover their bodies.
Hurt, betrayal, disappointment... all words that could have described me in that moment. Let alone angry.
In that moment, I decided that he wasn't even worth fighting for. I had intentions of beating both their asses but I knew they werent worth my energy.
I shook my head as I heard my name being called. I made my way into the living room and blasted Anything by Natasha Mosely. Why this song ? I have no clue. Maybe I could convince my self that I was better or that she had nothing on me- which I was, and she didn't.
I sat on the couch sipping from my water bottle, trying to calm myself down. So many thoughts were going through my head. "This nigga got me fucked up." I laughed. I shook my head as i heard a door close up stairs.
In no more than two seconds the girl had run out the door barely dressed, and a shirtless Darius was making his way in front of me. I just stared at him.
" Baby let me explain. I-" I didn't even let him finish before I stood up and slapped him. I had more than half a mind to hit him again but stopped myself.
" Move " was all I could say to him. I didnt even want to look at his face.
" Shae just look at me ma , please" he reached for my arm.
" Don't touch me ! I fuckin hate you Darius ! In my house ! You fucked her in my bed !? huh !?" I screamed, punching him after every phrase. " I want you out my house. I hate you ".
He clenched his jaw as he spoke.
" Shae , that girl don't mean nothing ma she ain't you"
"Miss me with that. In my house D , under my roof , you fucked her like it was nothing. in my fuckin bed !" I walked over to the high rise to slip back on my shoes as I grabbed my keys.
" Watch who you talkin to girl 'for you get ya self handled." he threatened me. I had no care in the world. My emotions wouldnt allow me to. I scoffed " You aint gon do shit."
As I reached the door, once again I felt his grasp tight on my arm. " where you going Bae? You not leaving me." I tried pulling back.
" Fuck you." Was all I managed to get out before my cheek was met with his fist.
" You not leaving me !" I managed to cut him with my keys and get a few hits in before finally giving up. He over powered me. Punch after punch I took from him. The man I fell in love with... Lie after lie I excepted from him... Never did I think it would come to this. Nothing in the world could make me believe this is how my night would be.
" You with me till the end. remember that " was all I heard before everything went black.
