"Hey!" a stranger yells out at Cassidy. "Can you help me?""Do I know you?" Cassidy asks"No, but I know you." the stranger informs kind of creeping Cassidy out"How? I've never seen you in my life." Cassidy says questioning the stranger"It's complicated, i'll explain later." the stranger says"So, you got a name or what?" Cassidy asks"Oh yes, please excuse my lack of introduction, i'm TJ." says the stranger"I supposed you know my name since you know me, right?" Cassidy asks in a snotty voice"Actually I think I might, um Cassidy... right?" Asks TJ"Yeah, thats me." Says Cassidy "So is there something you need from me or what?""Yes, I need your help, very soon." Says TJ"With what?" asks Cassidy cautiously"I'll explain later." says TJ quietly

Cassidy walked away with a confused expression on her face. What was that guy talking about? Should I have stayed longer to find out? Wait, wait, wait, no. I'm overthinking this, like everything else. All of these questions in Cassidys head, she couldn't stop thinking about what TJ was talking about. It was going to drive her crazy until she found out. She turned around and ran at a steady pace to catch up to TJ, with her dark brown hair being flung around in the crisp frosty air of the chilly Friday night.

Cassidy had to think of his name for a minute as she had already forgotten his name"Uh," Cassidy said quietly to herself "TJ! Wait up!" Cassidy yellsTJ turned around with a stunned expression on his face"Cassidy, what are you doing back here?" TJ asked surprised she came back"I have to know what you meant by "You need my help." I need to know TJ." Cassidy said in a demanding voice"Cassidy, I told you i would explain later." TJ said"If you wanted to tell me later then you would've waited to tell me then, not now." Cassidy said with attitude"Cassidy, i don't want to upset you, but you need to wait to find out." Says TJ calmly"No TJ! Just tell me now!" Cassidy yells in an angry tone"Cassidy, go home, now! Please, before you get yourself into trouble with that attitude of yours." TJ says calmly but sternly

Cassidy turns away and starts walking home, huffing and puffing angrily with every breath freezing in the cold winter night, going anywhere but home. Just walking around town hoping not to get stopped by the police, because it passed curfew and she's underaged, she's only 15 out at 11 pm, by herself. Cassidy found an alley close to home and she stayed there for a good hour and a half. She really didn't want to go home and face her parents for being out later than 9:30. She was in big trouble now, even though she knew she was in trouble she headed home because her fingertips turned into icicles turning a light shade of purple blue. "Cassidy, where have you been? Its 11:48! Where were you at 9:30, you know when you should've been home?" asked her mother in a very angry lecturing way"Mom, stop asking me questions, i'm tired and i'm cold, just stop talking to me, please, just for tonight, i'm begging you!" Cassidy exclaimed with her voice shaking "Cassidy! You get back here right now and never talk to me that way again! You hear me?!" Cassidy's mother yelled almost screaming as if she wanted the whole world to know

Cassidy just turned away after her mothers 'scream' at her, she ran to her room, locked her door, and sat against it blocking her mother and everyone else out. Her mother came and knocked on her bedroom door

"Cassidy," her mother asked quietly "are you alright?""Can you just leave me alone for tonight, please?" Cassidy said quietly through the hollow light brown wood door faded from scratches from the dog trying to get Cassidy to open the door."Cassidy, please, I want to talk to you." her mother said"No, just talk to me in the morning." Cassidy said in no mood to talk"Fine, goodnight Cassidy, love you." her mother said through the door with a soft tone in her voice waiting for a reply of 'I love you too mom', but without an answer her mother turned away and went to sleep herself.

Cassidy went to sleep after she calmed down from the stressful argument with her mother. The next day Cassidy left home without telling anyone where she went but, where she really went was to go find TJ. She gave up after an hour and she went and sat in an old diner that is pretty much your typical old diner you expect to see on the side of the highway to the middle of nowhere, always empty, except this was a little hometown diner, she felt out of place there until TJ walked in. TJ came and sat down with her, they stayed and talked for a couple of hours and then, TJ told Cassidy what he needed her help with.
