MK's POV: I woke up in my apartment but I don't remember coming here?? I was at Monkey King's house.. With Macaque.. I wonder why he was there Monkey King didn't even know he said Macaque was being "weirdly chill" which sounds mischievous.. But whatever... I looked at my clock "OH SHOOT! I'M GONNA BE LATE!!!" I started to get ready and ran to Pigsy's shop. When I got there I got yelled at because I was late. As always.. "Really kid!? Again!? Next time I will fire you!" Pigsy always yells at me for being late but I'm used to it. "Sorry Pigsy! I was at Monkey King's house I got home a bit late" and I still don't know how.. "You better not be late again!" Pigsy yelled again. "I won't be!" I sat down next to Tang waiting for Pigsy, thinking about last night.. Did I sleep walk? No way.. Then how did i get home? Did monkey king take me home? Why was macaque there.. How long was he there..? I was still in deep thought until Tang said something "hey MK you ok? You look pretty serious.. Is there something going on?" I popped up looking at Tang "well.. When I was at Monkey King's house someone was there.." Tang looked very curious "who?" I looked down "Macaque.." Tang looked surprised "What!? Why!?" I looked at him again "I-i don't know but Monkey King let him stay.. Monkey King said he was being " weirdly chill" like nice.." Tang looked shocked "NiCe!?" I nodded "Macaque was also laying on M-Monkey King's lap" Tang looked like he was about to faint "BUT THEY'RE ENEMIES!" I put a finger on his mouth "i know! And quiet down!" "sorry sorry i'm just surprised!" then we got interrupted by Pigsy "MK COME GET THESE DELIVERIES!" Tang looked at me and smiled " you better get those deliveries " I smiled at him "yeah well gotta go see you later!" I grabbed the deliveries and went off. After doing some deliveries one of them were at a address that seemed familiar? But I didn't think to much about it I went there doing my job. I was halfway through. It was pretty creepy outside but it's not the first time I've been to a creepy place.. I finally arrived and this place looked.. So familiar but I did what I did "Pigsy's Noodles!" When they opened the door I was surprised.. "Oh hello MK" it was Macaque.. No wonder this place was familiar "erm hi here is your order.." I wanted to ask him about last night but it was hard to speak until he finally said something "spit it out." I looked up at him "WHY WERE YOU AT MONKEY KING'S HOUSE LAST NIGHT?" he looked at me and smirked "I guessed you were going to say that.. Come in I can explain in here" I gulped he was being nice but in a creepy way but I came in, my curiosity is gonna KILL me if I don't get an answer. We walked in his place it was clean and neat but also a bit classic and simple. We sat down on his couch I stared at him for a while but then broke the silence "Why were you at Monkey King's house? You're enemies and you were.. Well you know.. Why?" He looked at me and smirked "well... I just wanted to hang out. That's it." I looked at him with confusion "but you hate him? Right? Why would you wanna hang out?" His smile turned into a bit of a frown "well I don't hate him.. Its just what happened between us" I looked at him, Monkey King told me stuff about there past but I never heard it from Macaque "what happened?" Macaque looked.. Sad but he started talking " well we got into a fight.. And well I would put it in detail but your just a kid so-" I cut him off "Its ok! I can take it!" He smiled a bit "ok.. So WuKong had this thing for getting stronger he had become more and more rude I guess. It felt like he forgot me so I wanted to talk to him but the result didn't end up.. Well" he just stopped talking I saw his face it looked like he was tearing up but I wanted to know more "what do you mean 'not well' "? He continued " we fought and he.. Killed me." I was shocked Monkey King said Macaque's death was an accident but the way he said it it sounded like it was on purpose Macaque started talking again "his eyes looked like they were full of rage.. I was way weaker so the battle only lasted a while" I didn't really know what to say I just said what came to my mind "Monkey King killed you.. But he said it was an accident! He said after you died he started to freak out. He started crying he didn't know what was wrong with him he was like having a panic attack or something he said it felt like he was being controlled by something but didn't know what. He missed you badly after your death!" Macaque looked shocked did he not know this? I mean he was dead but.. They never discussed it afterwards? Macaque started crying "h-he.." Macaque looked speechless "you never knew!? You guys didn't discuss afterwards!?" He nodded "I thought he did it because he didn't care.. So I wanted revenge I never knew he could be like that.. Ever.." I looked at my phone noticing we have been here for 30 minutes but I didn't want to leave him I hugged him "you don't mind me staying for a bit right?" He nodded then he started speaking I was shocked with what he said.. "I loved WuKong.. He was my only friend I had.. He just turned on me and after he started freaking out..? I was so mad I hoped he had regret what he did but it didn't feel like it, so I started to turn on him.. WuKong was my best friend but something like that just changed our friendship.." Macaque loved him? I was so surprised but I wanted to still comfort him so I stayed another 30 minutes, he calmed down but I had to go so I said bye and went back to my job it was getting pretty late and I still had the orders to do so I did the last ones and got back I just went to my apartment thought about what I heard.. They were best friends? Monkey King killed him.. No wonder Macaque was so miserable.. I felt bad for him I never really knew anything about there past but now that I know more maybe Macaque isn't so bad after all.. I just sat in my bed and fell asleep I skipped dinner because I was to caught up in my thoughts I knew Pigsy was gonna be mad but I didn't really care about that. I slept well and tried to forget about today. It was a long day for me but I managed.
