Nights like tonight are truly one of a kind.
So different, unique,
Certainly a rare find.
I feel so different,
I remain the same.
It's like replaying a level in a game.
I know my way around the board, knocking over pawns,
Yet still I battle with myself until the crack of dawn.
"A King is nothing without friends," or so I've heard them say,
Now I believe they may be right, if things continue this way.
In the end, there are things I wish I had not done,
Yet there forever will remain some I could never regret.
It's on nights like these I remember,
It's on nights like tonight I forget.
