The most important of the Hindu gods

The most important of the Hindu gods and goddesses are the trinity, namely Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, who are the creator, maintainer, and destroyer of the world, respectively. There are also different incarnations of all the three deities, which are worshiped by Hindu devotees.

While Brahmadev is considered the creator of the universe, Vishnu is considered the nurturer and Shiva the destroyer. Vishnu is called Hari and Shiva is called Har. The scriptures describe 24 incarnations of Hari, similarly there are 19 incarnations of 'Har'.

Just as the three main deities of Hinduism are Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, in the same way, there are three main goddesses who are the Trimurti or the wives of these three gods, whose names are Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. Although you will find only Saraswati, Lakshmi and Durga or Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswati and Mahakali in the temple of Tridevi. Because Mahakali is considered to be the incarnation of Mata Parvati.
