PRESENT SCENARIO:
|| The Casa Of Arora's ||
|| Mr. Rajkamal Arora's Room ||It was 4 o'clock in the afternoon, Rajkamal ji was sitting on his chair with his eyes closed and a gust of wind broke his sleep. He looked out the window at his 6-year-old grandson playing football with his friends. The weather outside became pleasant and the rain had stopped. Even then there was a possibility of rain because the clouds were thundering. Grandpa was looking at the smiling face of his cute grandson, all he could remember was Vihaan's childhood. After some time winds started blowing, along with dark clouds covered by the sky and then it started raining like cats and dogs. Rajkamal ji started watching the rain while his grandson, who was playing with the ball some time ago, left the ball and brought his notebook from inside and sitting on the stairs made a paper boat and floated it in the water, he was having a lot of fun while doing this and he was as happy as Larry today. Seeing him, a smile floated on the lips of Rajkamal ji. When the child's eyes fell on Rajkamal ji's face, he said, "Come on grandpa, see how much fun it is to float the paper boat on the rainy water, please come grandpa. It feels so soothing and my heart is full."
On the insistence of the grandson, Rajkamal ji came out and sitting with him made a boat and started sailing in the water. Rajkamal ji with the child had forgotten Vihaan's bitter words some time ago, now he also joins him in making a boat and floating it in the water. It was only a matter of time that his daughter-in-law Aashna came angrily from the kitchen. She picked up Ayansh angrily by holding his arm violently and slapped him on the cheek and said, "What is this Duggu? You have ruined all the notebook. Is this what I have taught?" After that Aashna turned to Rajkamal ji and said, "Kya Papa aap bhi? He is a child but you are also doing all this with him. This is literally disgusting Papa. Are you nuts? Don't you have common sense that you are playing with a child and that too at this age? You should have told him to do studies and complete the pending work of school but no, you are motivating him to play such baseless games and that too in rainy water which is legit filthy and noxious for health. He might have got cold then who will give money for his treatment? You will give? No, because you don't have and you are living in our money then please go to your room."
"Bahu, I was just living my childhood and please don't scold Ayansh, he has no fault. He loves to play in rain ergo I didn't said much. You have seen that he is always doing his school work or self study which is mental working. But what about physical doing? If he will not play only do schooling then studying then eating after that he will feel knackered and will hit the sack. Will it not hamper his health?", said Rajkamal ji angrily and in a stressed tone."There is no need of such a childhood, such things only spoil the children, today he has destroyed the notebook, tomorrow he will drop his studies and make paper boats, after that you will be happy. Don't give me such gibberish advice. I knew pretty well what is good and what is bad for my child Papa. You please don't interfere between a mother and a child."Come on Duggu from here", said Aashna angrily by dragging the child from there took him inside, she might have given a couple more slaps. Rajkamal ji became sad again just a few months back Vihaan had brought him back from the village to Chandigarh and since then Rajkamal ji was trying hard to settle himself here in the city, but he feels like he is troubling his son and daughter-in-law plus grandson. The rain had stopped, Rajkamal ji came out sorrowfully and sat on the swing in the garden and looked sadly at the beautiful plants in front of him, on which the drops of rain water were still accumulated. When Vihaan came home at night, Aashna made many false complaints to him about Rajkamal ji and said that his child was being affected and day by day his getting dumb, intolerant and getting naughty plus ill-mannered just because of him. Vihaan heard and said angrily, "Okay this Sunday I will drop him back to the Mehrauli village, Malvika aunt also lives there. Father will stay along with Malvika aunt. Every month I will send ample amount of money that they won't need anything and can live peacefully there and so we." While passing outside the room of Vihaan and Aashna's, Rajkamal ji's eyes became moist when his son's voice reached his ears. Vihaan was his only son after four daughters, but today knowing that at this age he has become a whole burden on his son and daughter-in-law, his heart was filled with embarrassment and sadness. He went sadly with tears in his eyes towards the room.
