The young girl, whose scarlet eyes burned with hundreds, if not thousands, of ever-changing runic hexagrams in every color of the rainbow, carefully straightened her hissing snake hair, gloomily looking ahead into the darkness.

She was scared. She was very, very scared to be in such a dark, gods-cursed place, but she couldn't back out, especially not after she'd come this far. Into the world of the dead... all for the man who had saved her and helped heal the curse.

For Aizen.

If it hadn't been for him, once entering a place sealed by the Greek Gods, she would never have seen the light of the sun. Never would she have felt the warmth of a human body, never felt the love of her sister, the Archangel Gabriel... she swore to herself.

She swore that she would follow Aizen into the depths of the underworld, into the blue heavens, and even after his death, she would follow him.

It didn't matter that it was stupid, that he was an ordinary man with a very short life span-it was all just the usual unfortunate downsides. Medusa had dreamed all her life of leaving her personal realm of darkness. She dreamed of looking at the world around her with her own eyes, of looking at the man who had given her the colors by telling her about them.

It was worth more than the ordinary soul of the little Goddess.

The girl still did not understand how Aizen and Gabriel had managed to lift the curse of the Gods and the three of them to leave her personal prison unnoticed by the Greek Pantheon. It was also a mystery to her how Aizen managed to find and enter the sealed space of her dungeon, he said it "came by accident," but... did it really matter?

Everyone has their own secrets. The important thing was that he kept his promise to her. He freed her, gave her her sight back, and gave her a purpose...

To destroy the Greek Pantheon.

A very small circle of intelligence knows Medusa's secret. The secret of her eyes that the Gods have so carefully sealed... well, she will prove to Aizen that she is worthy to follow him. Prove it to herself!

And so...

The girl covered her eyes, nodding to herself, and then she looked to her left, where she could sense the emanations of Hades, the Greek God of Death and one of her Archivists.

It's a pity she's not fully recovered yet and can't kill that bastard skeleton now, too bad. But now she has the strength to hide herself from the gaze of the Greek Pantheon. She is invisible to that mythology, so...

Medusa held up her index finger, which bore a ring in the shape of a bloody skull. A monstrous emanation of death, pain, and negativity wafted from it, but the Goddess ignored it, creating a barrier around herself so that Hades would not inadvertently sense the ring.

Minutes flowed by minutes, the girl infusing the ring with power, sincerely believing Aizen's words. He had never lied to her, and he would never lie to her...

And then, in the distance heard the distant clatter of hooves with the ghostly roar of a horse. Cutting through the dark haze, a pale horse jumped out to meet the girl. Shabby, with bits of flesh through which you could see gray bones and with very old-looking reins that gave off a dark haze.

He looked at Medusa with empty eyes, then bowed. The girl gently, as if afraid to frighten, touched the dead horse's flesh with her hand, stroking the ancient creature piteously.

The horse snorted softly, and the next moment its empty eye sockets lit up with two gray otherworldly lights, making Gorgon smile:

- Shh, good one... you're trapped in this place too, aren't you? Will you lead me to your master? - The horse nodded and turned sideways toward the girl, offering to climb in. - Thank you.
