Sixth chapter: Ghost town pt 1

During the few days that Xuanyu and Lan zhan were gone Sizhui, Jingyi and Daiyu had been tending to the wonded. After a while the lan disciples made their way for a night hunt. Afraid of getting lost they got together with Jin Ling and Zizchen. After getting lost they ended up in a ghost town. They tried many ways of getting out but failed. It was endless fog.

The disciples were walking through the fog. It was really difficult for them to see. As they were walking they ran into someone. "Who?" Jin Ling said. All of them had their swords halfway out just in case.

"Jin Ling. Lady Lan, Sizhui." He said. As they realized it was Xuanyu they put the swords away. "It's you again?" Jin Ling said. "I also wonder why it's you again." He said back.

"Master Mo, You're here too." Sizhui said. "Dose it mean Hanguang Jun is here as well?" He asked. "It must be him. That's his sword!" Jingyi said. "Bichen." Daiyu mumbled. "Yes, he's here." Xuanyu said.

"But tell me why you are here first." He said. Daiyu looked at Sizhui. "Don't tell me that you accompany each other here for night hunting." Xuanyu said. "It's so strange here. There are no residents around." Jingyi said. "And in broad daylight, it's termed with pathogenic mist. And none of the shops are open." Sizhui said.

"That's not the point. Tell me why are you here first." He said insisting. "That's a long story." Daiyu said. Sizhui looked at Daiyu before nodding. "After we entered town, we were worried about getting lost, so we gathered together. Suddenly, we heard this sound. At the time, it was. It that quick. Slowly, we seemed to see a small figure in the fog, walking slowly. It disappeared once we ran to it. The sound followed us all along since then." Sizhui said.

"We went on this road after entering the town and never changed our direction. But we still couldn't get out of here." Jingyi said. Xuanyu sighed. "Have you tried maneuvering the sword?" He asked.

"We tried. I felt like I flew upwards for a long distance. But actually, it's not very high." Sizhui said. "There are some shadows flying hither and thither in the sky. Since I don't know what that is and I was worried about it being unable to cope with it, I came to the ground." Sizhui said.

Jingyi slightly gasped. "Is the fog toxic?" He said. "It's not." Daiyu mumbled. "We have t died yet despite being here for a while." She said as she looked at the ground.

"I should have brought my fairy. It's all because of your dumb donkey." Jin Ling said as he had his arms crossed. "We haven't blamed your dog! It bit apple first and got kicked by Apple. Whose fault was it?" Jingyi said.

"Now neither of them can move." Jingyi said. "Wait. Apple was bitten?" Xuanyu said in a panicked tone. "Can that donkey be compared to my fairy?" Jin Ling said. "My uncle gave me fairy as a gift." He said. Xuanyu crossed his arms. "If something happens to it, it's worth more that 10,000 donkeys." Jin Ling said proudly.

"Okay, tell you what. Don't use Lianfang Zun's name to frighten me. Apple was a gift from Hanguang Jin." Xuanyu said. "How could you take Apple out of cloud recesses and even get it injured?" He said. "You lie! Hanguang Jun wont give such a gift." Jingyi said.

"Sorry, Master Mo" Sizhui said. "Apple makes noises at cloud recesses every day. The masters have complained about it for a long time and asked us to send it away while we are having a night hunt." Sizhui explained.

"Loud noises are forbidden at cloud recesses" Daiyu said. "Don't apologize." She said plainly. "I disliked the donkey at first sight.and its name is apple." Jin Ling said. "So dumb." He muttered.

"What's wrong with apple? It liked eating apples so it was named apple. Not pretentious at all!" Jingyi said. "It's a way better name than fairy which refers to your fat dog." Jingyi said.
